1 - Prese allora a parlare Baldad il Suhita e disse:	1 Then Bildad the Shuhite answered and said:
2 «Dominazione e spavento sono presso di Lui, che fa calma nelle sue altitudini.	2 Dominion and awesomeness are his who brings about harmony in his heavens.
3 V'è forse un numero per le sue legioni, e su chi mai non sorge la sua luce?	3 Is there any numbering of his troops? Yet to which of them does not his light extend?
4 Può forse l'uomo giustificarsi in confronto con Dio, o apparir mondo chi è nato da donna?	4 How can a man be just in God's sight, or how can any woman's child be innocent?
5 Ecco, perfin la luna non risplende e le stelle non sono terse dinanzi a Lui:	5 Behold, even the moon is not bright and the stars are not clear in his sight.
6 quanto meno l'uomo ch'è putridume, e il figlio dell'uomo ch'è verme!»	6 How much less man, who is but a maggot, the son of man, who is only a worm?
