1 - Prese allora a parlare Baldad il Suhita e disse:	1 Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,
2 «Dominazione e spavento sono presso di Lui, che fa calma nelle sue altitudini.	2 Dominion and fear are with him, he maketh peace in his high places.
3 V'è forse un numero per le sue legioni, e su chi mai non sorge la sua luce?	3 Is there any number of his armies? and upon whom doth not his light arise?
4 Può forse l'uomo giustificarsi in confronto con Dio, o apparir mondo chi è nato da donna?	4 How then can man be justified with God? or how can he be clean that is born of a woman?
5 Ecco, perfin la luna non risplende e le stelle non sono terse dinanzi a Lui:	5 Behold even to the moon, and it shineth not; yea, the stars are not pure in his sight.
6 quanto meno l'uomo ch'è putridume, e il figlio dell'uomo ch'è verme!»	6 How much less man, that is a worm? and the son of man, which is a worm?
