2 Pietà di me, pietà di me, o Dio, in te mi rifugio; mi rifugio all'ombra delle tue ali finché sia passato il pericolo.	2 Have mercy on me, God, have mercy on me. In you I seek shelter. In the shadow of your wings I seek shelter till harm pass by.
3 Invocherò Dio, l'Altissimo, Dio che mi fa il bene.	3 I call to God Most High, to God who provides for me.
4 Mandi dal cielo a salvarmi dalla mano dei miei persecutori, Dio mandi la sua fedeltà e la sua grazia.	4 May God send help from heaven to save me, shame those who trample upon me. May God send fidelity and love. Selah
5 Io sono come in mezzo a leoni, che divorano gli uomini; i loro denti sono lance e frecce, la loro lingua spada affilata.	5 I must lie down in the midst of lions hungry for human prey. Their teeth are spears and arrows; their tongue, a sharpened sword.
6 Innàlzati sopra il cielo, o Dio, su tutta la terra la tua gloria.	6 Show yourself over the heavens, God; may your glory appear above all the earth.
7 Hanno teso una rete ai miei piedi, mi hanno piegato, hanno scavato davanti a me una fossa e vi sono caduti.	7 They have set a trap for my feet; my soul is bowed down; They have dug a pit before me. May they fall into it themselves! Selah
8 Saldo è il mio cuore, o Dio, saldo è il mio cuore.	8 My heart is steadfast, God, my heart is steadfast. I will sing and chant praise.
9 Voglio cantare, a te voglio inneggiare: svègliati, mio cuore, svègliati arpa, cetra, voglio svegliare l'aurora.	9 Awake, my soul; awake, lyre and harp! I will wake the dawn.
10 Ti loderò tra i popoli, Signore, a te canterò inni tra le genti.	10 I will praise you among the peoples, Lord; I will chant your praise among the nations.
11 perché la tua bontà è grande fino ai cieli, e la tua fedeltà fino alle nubi.	11 For your love towers to the heavens; your faithfulness, to the skies.
