1 'Miktam. Di Davide.' Proteggimi, o Dio: in te mi rifugio.	1 [In a quiet voice Of David] Protect me, O God, in you is my refuge.
2 Ho detto a Dio: "Sei tu il mio Signore, senza di te non ho alcun bene".	2 To Yahweh I say, 'You are my Lord, my happiness is in none
3 Per i santi, che sono sulla terra, uomini nobili, è tutto il mio amore.	3 of the sacred spirits of the earth.' They only take advantage of al who love them.
4 Si affrettino altri a costruire idoli: io non spanderò le loro libazioni di sangue né pronunzierò con le mie labbra i loro nomi.	4 People flock to their teeming idols. Never shal I pour libations to them! Never take their names on mylips.
5 Il Signore è mia parte di eredità e mio calice: nelle tue mani è la mia vita.	5 My birthright, my cup is Yahweh; you, you alone, hold my lot secure.
6 Per me la sorte è caduta su luoghi deliziosi, è magnifica la mia eredità.	6 The measuring-line marks out for me a delightful place, my birthright is al I could wish.
7 Benedico il Signore che mi ha dato consiglio; anche di notte il mio cuore mi istruisce.	7 I bless Yahweh who is my counsel or, even at night my heart instructs me.
8 Io pongo sempre innanzi a me il Signore, sta alla mia destra, non posso vacillare.	8 I keep Yahweh before me always, for with him at my right hand, nothing can shake me.
9 Di questo gioisce il mio cuore, esulta la mia anima; anche il mio corpo riposa al sicuro,	9 So my heart rejoices, my soul delights, my body too wil rest secure,
10 perché non abbandonerai la mia vita nel sepolcro, né lascerai che il tuo santo veda la corruzione.	10 for you wil not abandon me to Sheol, you cannot al ow your faithful servant to see the abyss.
11 Mi indicherai il sentiero della vita, gioia piena nella tua presenza, dolcezza senza fine alla tua destra.	11 You wil teach me the path of life, unbounded joy in your presence, at your right hand delight for ever.
