Psalmen 122

EINHEITSUBERSETZUNG BIBEL	KING JAMES BIBLE
1 [Ein Wallfahrtslied Davids.] Ich freute mich, als man mir sagte: «Zum Haus des Herrn wollen wir pilgern.»	1 I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.
2 Schon stehen wir in deinen Toren, Jerusalem:	2 Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem.
3 Jerusalem, du starke Stadt, dicht gebaut und fest gefügt.	3 Jerusalem is builded as a city that is compact together:
4 Dorthin ziehen die Stämme hinauf, die Stämme des Herrn, wie es Israel geboten ist, den Namen des Herrn zu preisen.	4 Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the LORD.
5 Denn dort stehen Throne bereit für das Gericht, die Throne des Hauses David.	5 For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David.
6 Erbittet für Jerusalem Frieden! Wer dich liebt, sei in dir geborgen.	6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.
7 Friede wohne in deinen Mauern, in deinen Häusern Geborgenheit.	7 Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.
8 Wegen meiner Brüder und Freunde will ich sagen: In dir sei Friede.	8 For my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee.
9 Wegen des Hauses des Herrn, unseres Gottes, will ich dir Glück erflehen.	9 Because of the house of the LORD our God I will seek thy good.
