1 Alì ora prese la parola Baldad Suhite, e disse:	1 Then Bildad the Shuhite answered:
2 « La potenza e il terrore sono in Colui che mantiene l'ordine nei suoi alti luoghi.	2 "Dominion and fear are with God; he makes peace in his high heaven.
3 Si può forse contare il numero dei suoi eserciti? Su chi non si leva la sua luce?	3 Is there any number to his armies? Upon whom does his light not arise?
4 Può forse l'uomo esser giustificato di fronte a Dio, o apparir puro un nato di donna?	4 How then can man be righteous before God? How can he who is born of woman be clean?
5 Ecco la luna stessa non ha splendore, e le stelle non sono pure dinanzi a lui: e quanto meno l'uomo, che è putredine, e il figlio dell'uomo, che è un verme! »	5 Behold, even the moon is not bright and the stars are not clean in his sight;
	6 how much less man, who is a maggot, and the son of man, who is a worm!"
