1 Alì ora prese la parola Baldad Suhite, e disse:	1 Then Baldad the Suhite answered by saying:
2 « La potenza e il terrore sono in Colui che mantiene l'ordine nei suoi alti luoghi.	2 Power and terror are with him that makes a pact with those in high places.
3 Si può forse contare il numero dei suoi eserciti? Su chi non si leva la sua luce?	3 Is there any limit to the number of his soldiers or to the number of those over whom his light rises?
4 Può forse l'uomo esser giustificato di fronte a Dio, o apparir puro un nato di donna?	4 Is it right for man to compare himself to God, or to appear pure though he is born of woman?
5 Ecco la luna stessa non ha splendore, e le stelle non sono pure dinanzi a lui: e quanto meno l'uomo, che è putredine, e il figlio dell'uomo, che è un verme! »	5 Behold, even the moon is not radiant, and the stars are not pure, in his sight.
	6 Is man much more than rottenness and the son of man much more than worms?
