1 - Lode. Di David. Io ti esalterò, o mio Dio, o re, e benedirò il tuo nome ne' secoli, in eterno.	1 A Psalm of David. Blessed be the LORD, my rock, who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle;
2 Ogni giorno ti benediròe loderò il tuo nome ne' secoli, in eterno.	2 my rock and my fortress, my stronghold and my deliverer, my shield and he in whom I take refuge, who subdues the peoples under him.
3 Grande è il Signore e degno sommamente di lode, e della sua grandezza non c'è confini.	3 O LORD, what is man that thou dost regard him, or the son of man that thou dost think of him?
4 Una generazione dopo l'altra loderà le opere tue, e annunzieranno la tua potenza.	4 Man is like a breath, his days are like a passing shadow.
5 Della magnificenza gloriosa della tua santità parleranno, e i tuoi portenti narreranno.	5 Bow thy heavens, O LORD, and come down! Touch the mountains that they smoke!
6 La potenza delle tue geste tremende ridiranno, e la tua grandezza racconteranno.	6 Flash forth the lightning and scatter them, send out thy arrows and rout them!
7 Il ricordo della tua copiosa bontà proclamerannoe per la tua giustizia esulteranno.	7 Stretch forth thy hand from on high, rescue me and deliver me from the many waters, from the hand of aliens,
8 Clemente e misericordioso è il Signore, paziente e molto misericordioso.	8 whose mouths speak lies, and whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood.
9 Buono è il Signore per tutti e le sue misericordie [si stendon] su tutte le sue opere.	9 I will sing a new song to thee, O God; upon a ten-stringed harp I will play to thee,
10 Ti celebrino, o Signore, tutte le tue opere, e i tuoi fedeli ti benedicano!	10 who givest victory to kings, who rescuest David thy servant.
11 La gloria del tuo nome diranno, e della tua potenza parleranno,	11 Rescue me from the cruel sword, and deliver me from the hand of aliens, whose mouths speak lies, and whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood.
12 per far note agli uomini le tue potenti geste e la gloria magnifica del tuo regno.	12 May our sons in their youth be like plants full grown, our daughters like corner pillars cut for the structure of a palace;
13 Il tuo regno è regno di tutti i secoli, e la tua dominazione [va] d'età in età. Fedele è il Signore in tutte le sue vie, e santo in tutte le sue opere.	13 may our garners be full, providing all manner of store; may our sheep bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our fields;
14 Sostiene il Signore tutti quei che cadonoe rialza tutti gli abbattuti.	14 may our cattle be heavy with young, suffering no mischance or failure in bearing; may there be no cry of distress in our streets!
15 Gli occhi di tutti sperano in te, o Signore, e tu dài loro il nutrimento a suo tempo.	15 Happy the people to whom such blessings fall! Happy the people whose God is the LORD!
16 Tu apri la tua mano e riempi ogni vivente di benedizione.
17 Giusto è il Signore in tutte le sue vie e santo in tutte le sue opere.
18 Vicino è il Signore a quanti l'invocano, a quanti l'invocano con sincerità.
19 La volontà di quei che lo temono egli fa, e la loro supplica ascolta e li salva.
20 Protegge il Signore tutti quei che lo amano, e tutti gli empi disperde.
21 La lode del Signore proclamerà la mia bocca, e benedirà ogni carne il suo santo nomene' secoli, in eterno.
