Salmi 102

BIBBIA RICCIOTTI	CATHOLIC PUBLIC DOMAIN
1 - Di David. Benedici, anima mia, il Signore, e tutte le mie viscere [benedicano] il suo santo nome.	1 To David himself. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and bless his holy name, all that is within me.
2 Benedici, anima mia, il Signore e non dimenticar tutti i suoi benefizi.	2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and do not forget all his recompenses.
3 [È lui] che perdona tutte le tue iniquità, che risana tutte le tue infermità,	3 He forgives all your iniquities. He heals all your infirmities.
4 che riscatta da morte la tua vita, che ti corona di misericordia e bontà,	4 He redeems your life from destruction. He crowns you with mercy and compassion.
5 che sazia di beni la tua brama, [sì che] si rinnovelli com'aquila la tua gioventù.	5 He satisfies your desire with good things. Your youth will be renewed like that of the eagle.
6 Fa misericordia [e giustizia] il Signore e fa ragione a tutti quei che patiscono ingiuria.	6 The Lord accomplishes mercies, and his judgment is for all who patiently endure injuries.
7 Manifestò le sue vie a Mosèe ai figliuoli d'Israele i suoi voleri [e i suoi portenti].	7 He has made his ways known to Moses, his will to the sons of Israel.
8 Buono e misericordioso è il Signore, tardo all'ira e molto benigno.	8 The Lord is compassionate and merciful, patient and full of mercy.
9 Non per sempre s'adira, nè in eterno serba rancore.	9 He will not be angry forever, and he will not threaten for eternity.
10 Non a seconda de' nostri peccati ci tratta, nè secondo le nostre iniquità retribuisce a noi.	10 He has not dealt with us according to our sins, and he has not repaid us according to our iniquities.
11 Perchè com'è alto il cielo al disopra della terra, così salda egli rese la sua misericordia per quei che lo temono:	11 For according to the height of the heavens above the earth, so has he reinforced his mercy toward those who fear him.
12 quant'è lontane l'oriente dall'occidente, tanto lungi e' rimosse da noi le nostre iniquità.	12 As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our iniquities from us.
13 Come un padre ha compassione de' suoi figliuoli, così ha compassione il Signore di quei che lo temono.	13 As a father is compassionate to his sons, so has the Lord been compassionate to those who fear him.
14 Perchè egli sa di che siamo impastati, ricorda che siamo polvere.	14 For he knows our form. He has called to mind that we are dust.
15 L'uomo, son come l'erba i suoi giorni: come un fiore di campo, così egli fiorisce!	15 Man: his days are like hay. Like the flower of the field, so will he flourish.
16 Il vento ci passerà su e più non sarà, nè più lo conoscerà il luogo dov'era!	16 For the spirit in him will pass away, and it will not remain, and he will know his place no longer.
17 Ma la bontà del Signore dura eterna su quei che lo temono, e la sua giustizia [passa] sui figli dei figli	17 But the mercy of the Lord is from eternity, and even unto eternity, upon those who fear him. And his justice is with the sons of the sons,
18 per quei che osservano il suo pattoe si ricordan de' suoi comandamenti per adempirli.	18 with those who serve his covenant and have been mindful of his commandments by doing them.
19 Il Signore ha stabilito nel cielo il suo trono, il suo regno impera su tutto.	19 The Lord has prepared his throne in heaven, and his kingdom will rule over all.
20 Benedite il Signore, o angeli tutti di lui, potenti per vigoria, esecutori della sua parola, [sempre pronti] ad ascoltar la voce de' suoi detti.	20 Bless the Lord, all you his Angels: powerful in virtue, doing his word, in order to heed the voice of his discourse.
21 Benedite il Signore, o schiere tutte di lui, voi, suoi servi, che fate la sua volontà.	21 Bless the Lord, all his hosts: his ministers who do his will.
22 Benedite il Signore, o schiere tutte di lui, in ogni luogo del suo dominio. Benedici, anima mia, il Signore!	22 Bless the Lord, all his works: in every place of his dominion. Bless the Lord, O my soul.
