| 18 Ma quando, battendo le ali, si dà alla fuga, si burla del cavallo e del suo cocchiere. | 18 What time she lifteth up herself on high, she scorneth the horse and his rider. |

| 21 Raspa la valle e giubila di vigoria, va contro le armi. | 21 He paweth in the valley, and rejoiceth in his strength: he goeth on to meet the armed men. |
| 22 Ride della paura e nulla teme e non indietreggia di fronte alle spade. | 22 He mocketh at fear, and is not affrighted; neither turneth he back from the sword. |
