Psalmen 106

EINHEITSUBERSETZUNG BIBEL	DOUAI-RHEIMS
1 Halleluja! Danket dem Herrn; denn er ist gütig, denn seine Huld währt ewig.	1 Alleluia. Give glory to the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
2 Wer kann die großen Taten des Herrn erzählen, all seinen Ruhm verkünden?	2 Who shall declare the powers of the Lord? who shall set forth all his praises?
3 Wohl denen, die das Recht bewahren und zu jeder Zeit tun, was gerecht ist.	3 Blessed are they that keep judgment, and do justice at all times.
4 Denk an mich, Herr, aus Liebe zu deinem Volk, such mich auf und bring mir Hilfe!	4 Remember us, O Lord, in the favour of thy people: visit us with thy salvation.
5 Lass mich das Glück deiner Erwählten schauen, an der Freude deines Volkes mich freuen, damit ich gemeinsam mit deinem Erbe mich rühmen kann.	5 That we may see the good of thy chosen, that we may rejoice in the joy of thy nation: that thou mayst be praised with thy inheritance.
6 Wir haben zusammen mit unsern Vätern gesündigt, wir haben Unrecht getan und gefrevelt.	6 We have sinned with our fathers: we have acted unjustly, we have wrought iniquity.
7 Unsre Väter in Ägypten begriffen deine Wunder nicht, dachten nicht an deine reiche Huld und trotzten dem Höchsten am Schilfmeer.	7 Our fathers understood not thy wonders in Egypt: they remembered not the multitude of thy mercies: And they provoked to wrath going up to the sea, even the Red Sea.
8 Er aber hat sie gerettet, um seinen Namen zu ehren und seine Macht zu bekunden.	8 And he saved them for his own name's sake: that he might make his power known.
9 Er bedrohte das Schilfmeer, da wurde es trocken; wie durch eine Steppe führte er sie durch die Fluten.	9 And he rebuked the Red Sea, and it was dried up: and he led them through the depths, as in a wilderness.
10 Er rettete sie aus der Hand derer, die sie hassten, erlöste sie aus der Gewalt des Feindes.	10 And he saved them from the hand of them that hated them: and he redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.
11 Ihre Bedränger bedeckte das Wasser, nicht einer von ihnen blieb übrig.	11 And the water covered them that afflicted them: there was not one of them left.
12 Nun glaubten sie Gottes Worten und sangen laut seinen Lobpreis.	12 And they believed his words: and they sang his praises.
13 Doch sie vergaßen schnell seine Taten, wollten auf seinen Ratschluss nicht warten.	13 They had quickly done, they forgot his works: and they waited not for his counsels.
14 Sie wurden in der Wüste begehrlich und versuchten Gott in der Öde.	14 And they coveted their desire in the desert: and they tempted God in the place without water.
15 Er gab ihnen, was sie von ihm verlangten; dann aber erfasste sie Ekel und Überdruss.	15 And he gave them their request: and sent fulness into their souls.
16 Sie wurden im Lager eifersüchtig auf Mose und auf Aaron, den Heiligen des Herrn.	16 And they provoked Moses in the camp, Aaron the holy one of the Lord.
17 Die Erde tat sich auf, sie verschlang den Datan und bedeckte die Rotte Abírams.	17 The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan: and covered the congregation of Abiron.
18 Feuer verbrannte die Rotte, Flammen verzehrten die Frevler.	18 And a fire was kindled in their congregation: the flame burned the wicked.
19 Sie machten am Horeb ein Kalb und warfen sich vor dem Gussbild nieder.	19 They made also a calf in Horeb: and they adored the graven thing.
20 Die Herrlichkeit Gottes tauschten sie ein gegen das Bild eines Stieres, der Gras frisst.	20 And they changed their glory into the likeness of a calf that eateth grass.
21 Sie vergaßen Gott, ihren Retter, der einst in Ägypten Großes vollbrachte,	21 They forgot God, who saved them, who had done great things in Egypt,
22 Wunder im Lande Hams, Furcht erregende Taten am Schilfmeer.	22 wondrous works in the land of Cham: terrible things in the Red Sea.
23 Da fasste er einen Plan und er hätte sie vernichtet, wäre nicht Mose, sein Erwählter, für sie in die Bresche gesprungen, sodass Gott sie im Zorn nicht vertilgte.	23 And he said that he would destroy them: had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach: To turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy them.
24 Sie verschmähten das köstliche Land; sie glaubten seinen Verheißungen nicht.	24 And they set at nought the desirable land. They believed not his word,
25 In ihren Zelten murrten sie, hörten nicht auf die Stimme des Herrn.	25 and they murmured in their tents: they hearkened not to the voice of the Lord.
26 Da erhob er gegen sie die Hand, um sie niederzustrecken noch in der Wüste,	26 And he lifted up his hand over them: to overthrow them in the desert;
27 ihre Nachkommen unter die Völker zu zerstreuen, sie in alle Welt zu versprengen.	27 And to cast down their seed among the nations, and to scatter them in the countries.
28 Sie hängten sich an den Bíal-Pegór und aßen die Opfer der toten Götzen.	28 They also were initiated to Beelphegor: and ate the sacrifices of the dead.
29 Sie erbitterten Gott mit ihren schändlichen Taten, bis über sie eine schwere Plage kam.	29 And they provoked him with their inventions: and destruction was multiplied among them.
30 Pinhas trat auf und hielt Gericht; so wurde die Plage abgewandt.	30 Then Phinees stood up, and pacified him: and the slaughter ceased.
31 Das rechnete Gott ihm als Gerechtigkeit an, ihm und seinem Geschlecht für immer und ewig.	31 And it was reputed to him unto justice, to generation and generation for evermore.
32 An den Wassern von Meríba reizten sie Gottes Zorn, ihretwegen erging es Mose übel.	32 They provoked him also at the waters of contradiction: and Moses was afflicted for their sakes:
33 Denn sie hatten seinen Geist erbittert, sein Mund redete unbedacht.	33 because they exasperated his spirit. And he distinguished with his lips.
34 Sie rotteten die Völker nicht aus, wie ihnen der Herr einst befahl.	34 They did not destroy the nations of which the Lord spoke unto them.
35 Sie vermischten sich mit den Heiden und lernten von ihren Taten.	35 And they were mingled among the heathens, and learned their works:
36 Sie dienten ihren Götzen; die wurden ihnen zur Falle.	36 and served their idols, and it became a stumblingblock to them.
37 Sie brachten ihre Söhne und Töchter dar als Opfer für die Dämonen.	37 And they sacrificed their sons, and their daughters to devils.
38 Sie vergossen schuldloses Blut, das Blut ihrer Söhne und Töchter, die sie den Götzen Kanaans opferten; so wurde das Land durch Blutschuld entweiht.	38 And they shed innocent blood: the blood of their sons and of their daughters which they sacrificed to the idols of Chanaan. And the land was polluted with blood,
39 Sie wurden durch ihre Taten unrein und brachen Gott mit ihrem Tun die Treue.	39 and was defiled with their works: and they went aside after their own inventions.
40 Der Zorn des Herrn entbrannte gegen sein Volk, er empfand Abscheu gegen sein Erbe.	40 And the Lord was exceedingly angry with his people: and he abhorred his inheritance.
41 Er gab sie in die Hand der Völker und die sie hassten, beherrschten sie.	41 And he delivered them into the hands of the nations: and they that hated them had dominion over them.
42 Ihre Feinde bedrängten sie, unter ihre Hand mussten sie sich beugen.	42 And their enemies afflicted them: and they were humbled under their hands:
43 Oft hat er sie befreit; sie aber trotzten seinem Beschluss und versanken in ihrer Schuld.	43 many times did he deliver them. But they provoked him with their counsel: and they were brought low by their iniquities.
44 Doch als er ihr Flehen hörte, sah er auf ihre Not	44 And he saw when they were in tribulation: and he heard their prayer.
45 und dachte ihnen zuliebe an seinen Bund; er hatte Mitleid in seiner großen Gnade.	45 And he was mindful of his covenant: and repented according to the multitude of his mercies.
46 Bei denen, die sie verschleppten, ließ er sie Erbarmen erfahren.	46 And he gave them unto mercies, in the sight of all those that had made them captives.
47 Hilf uns, Herr, unser Gott, führe uns aus den Völkern zusammen! Wir wollen deinen heiligen Namen preisen, uns rühmen, weil wir dich loben dürfen.	47 Save us, O Lord, our God: and gather us from among nations: That we may give thanks to thy holy name, and may glory in thy praise.
48 Gepriesen sei der Herr, der Gott Israels, vom Anfang bis ans Ende der Zeiten. Alles Volk soll sprechen: Amen. Halleluja!	48 Blessed be the Lord the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say: So be it, so be it.
