BIBBIA CEI 2008	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Figlio mio, custodisci le mie parole e fa’ tesoro dei miei precetti.	1 My child, keep my words, and treasure my precepts,
2 Osserva i miei precetti e vivrai, il mio insegnamento sia come la pupilla dei tuoi occhi.	2 keep my precepts and you wil live, keep my teaching as the apple of your eye.
3 Légali alle tue dita, scrivili sulla tavola del tuo cuore.	3 Bind these to your fingers, write them on the tablet of your heart.
4 Di’ alla sapienza: «Tu sei mia sorella», e chiama amica l’intelligenza,	4 Say to Wisdom, 'You are my sister!' Cal Understanding your relation,
5 perché ti protegga dalla donna straniera, dalla sconosciuta che ha parole seducenti.	5 to save yourself from the woman that belongs to another, from the stranger, with her seductive words.

24 Ora, figli, ascoltatemi e fate attenzione alle parole della mia bocca.	24 And now, son, listen to me, pay attention to the words I have to say:
25 Il tuo cuore non si volga verso le sue vie, non vagare per i suoi sentieri,	25 do not let your heart stray into her ways, or wander into her paths;
26 perché molti ne ha fatti cadere trafitti ed erano vigorose tutte le sue vittime.	26 she has done so many to death, and the strongest have al been her victims.
27 Strada del regno dei morti è la sua casa, che scende nelle dimore della morte.	27 Her house is the way to Sheol, the descent to the courts of death.
