BIBBIA RICCIOTTI	KING JAMES BIBLE
1 - Lussuriosa cosa è il vino, e tumultuosa l'ubriachezza, chi si diletterà di queste cose non sarà saggio.	1 Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.
2 Come il ruggito del leone, così l'ira del re, chi lo provoca peggio per lui.	2 The fear of a king is as the roaring of a lion: whoso provoketh him to anger sinneth against his own soul.
3 È un onore per l'uomo allontanarsi dalle contese; mentre tutti gli stolti s'immischiano negli alterchi.	3 It is an honour for a man to cease from strife: but every fool will be meddling.
4 Pel freddo il pigro non volle arare, poi mendicherà d'estate e non gli sarà dato nulla.	4 The sluggard will not plow by reason of the cold; therefore shall he beg in harvest, and have nothing.
5 Come un'acqua profonda, tale è il consiglio nel cuor dell'uomo, ma il saggio lo tirerà a galla.	5 Counsel in the heart of man is like deep water; but a man of understanding will draw it out.
6 Molti son chiamati uomini benefici, ma un uomo fedele chi lo troverà?	6 Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find?
7 Il giusto che cammina nella sua semplicità, lascerà, dopo sè, figli fortunati.	7 The just man walketh in his integrity: his children are blessed after him.
8 Il re che siede nel trono giudiziale, dissipa ogni male col suo sguardo.	8 A king that sitteth in the throne of judgment scattereth away all evil with his eyes.
9 Chi può dire: «Il mio cuore è mondo? sono puro da peccato?».	9 Who can say, I have made my heart clean, I am pure from my sin?
10 Peso e peso, misura e misura, sono entrambi abominevoli presso Dio.	10 Divers weights, and divers measures, both of them are alike abomination to the LORD.
11 Dalle inclinazioni del fanciullo si conoscese pure e rette saranno le sue azioni.	11 Even a child is known by his doings, whether his work be pure, and whether it be right.
12 Orecchio che ode e occhio che vedeli formò entrambi il Signore.	12 The hearing ear, and the seeing eye, the LORD hath made even both of them.
13 Non amare il sonno per non immiserire; apri i tuoi occhi e ti sazierai di pane.	13 Love not sleep, lest thou come to poverty; open thine eyes, and thou shalt be satisfied with bread.
14 «Robaccia, robaccia», dice ogni compratorema appena ritiratosi allora se ne vanta.	14 It is naught, it is naught, saith the buyer: but when he is gone his way, then he boasteth.
15 Oro ce n'è e perle in quantità, ma un vasello prezioso sono le labbra della scienza.	15 There is gold, and a multitude of rubies: but the lips of knowledge are a precious jewel.
16 Togli il vestito di chi si fece garante per lo straniero, e prendi pegno da lui a conto degli estranei.	16 Take his garment that is surety for a stranger: and take a pledge of him for a strange woman.
17 È gustoso all'uomo il pane del tradimento, ma dopo gli s'empirà la bocca di sassi.	17 Bread of deceit is sweet to a man; but afterwards his mouth shall be filled with gravel.
18 I progetti s'affermano coi consigli; e a norma di piani son da condursi le guerre.	18 Every purpose is established by counsel: and with good advice make war.
19 Con colui che svela il segreto, e procede colla frode e fa il ciarlone, non t'immischiare.	19 He that goeth about as a talebearer revealeth secrets: therefore meddle not with him that flattereth with his lips.
20 A chi maledice il padre e la madre s'estinguerà la lampada nel cuor delle tenebre.	20 Whoso curseth his father or his mother, his lamp shall be put out in obscure darkness.
21 Il patrimonio da prima messo insieme in fretta, alla fine sarà privo di benedizione.	21 An inheritance may be gotten hastily at the beginning; but the end thereof shall not be blessed.
22 Non dire: «Il male glielo ripagherò io!», aspetta il Signore e ti libererà.	22 Say not thou, I will recompense evil; but wait on the LORD, and he shall save thee.
23 Peso e peso presso il Signore è in abominio e la bilancia falsa non è buona cosa.	23 Divers weights are an abomination unto the LORD; and a false balance is not good.
24 Dal Signore son diretti i passi dell'uomo; e chi degli uomini può conoscere la sua via?	24 Man's goings are of the LORD; how can a man then understand his own way?
25 È un laccio per l'uomo dir subito: «Sacro!» e dopo i voti ritrattarsi.	25 It is a snare to the man who devoureth that which is holy, and after vows to make inquiry.
26 Un re saggio disperde gli empie incurva sopra di essi la volta.	26 A wise king scattereth the wicked, and bringeth the wheel over them.
27 Fiaccola divina è lo spirito dell'uomo che scruta tutti i ripostigli dell'interno.	27 The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly.
28 La misericordia e la verità custodiscono il re e sulla clemenza trova solidità il suo trono.	28 Mercy and truth preserve the king: and his throne is upholden by mercy.
29 Gloria dei giovani è la loro forza e onor dei vecchi la canizie.	29 The glory of young men is their strength: and the beauty of old men is the gray head.
30 A suon di battiture si nettano i vizie a percosse che arrivano al midollo dell'ossa.	30 The blueness of a wound cleanseth away evil: so do stripes the inward parts of the belly.
