1 Alleluia. Lodate il Signore dai cieli, lodatelo nell'alto dei cieli.	1 Alleluia. Praise the Lord from the heavens. Praise him on the heights.
2 Lodatelo, voi tutti, suoi angeli, lodatelo, voi tutte, sue schiere.	2 Praise him, all his Angels. Praise him, all his hosts.
3 Lodatelo, sole e luna, lodatelo, voi tutte, fulgide stelle.	3 Praise him, sun and moon. Praise him, all stars and light.
4 Lodatelo, cieli dei cieli, voi acque al di sopra dei cieli.	4 Praise him, heavens of the heavens. And let all the waters that are above the heavens
5 Lodino tutti il nome del Signore, perché egli disse e furono creati.	5 praise the name of the Lord. For he spoke, and they became. He commanded, and they were created.
6 Li ha stabiliti per sempre, ha posto una legge che non passa.	6 He has stationed them in eternity, and for age after age. He has established a precept, and it will not pass away.
7 Lodate il Signore dalla terra, mostri marini e voi tutti abissi,	7 Praise the Lord from the earth: you dragons and all deep places,
8 fuoco e grandine, neve e nebbia, vento di bufera che obbedisce alla sua parola,	8 fire, hail, snow, ice, windstorms, which do his word,
9 monti e voi tutte, colline, alberi da frutto e tutti voi, cedri,	9 mountains and all hills, fruitful trees and all cedars,
10 voi fiere e tutte le bestie, rettili e uccelli alati.	10 wild beasts and all cattle, serpents and feathered flying things,
11 I re della terra e i popoli tutti, i governanti e i giudici della terra,	11 kings of the earth and all peoples, leaders and all judges of the earth,
12 i giovani e le fanciulle, i vecchi insieme ai bambini	12 young men and virgins. Let the older men with the younger men, praise the name of the Lord.
13 lodino il nome del Signore: perché solo il suo nome è sublime, la sua gloria risplende sulla terra e nei cieli.	13 For his name alone is exalted.
14 Egli ha sollevato la potenza del suo popolo. È canto di lode per tutti i suoi fedeli, per i figli di Israele, popolo che egli ama. Alleluia.	14 Confession of him is beyond heaven and earth, and he has exalted the horn of his people. A hymn to all his holy ones, to the sons of Israel, to a people close to him. Alleluia.
