3 Sul mio dorso hanno arato gli aratori, hanno fatto lunghi solchi.	3 On my back ploughmen have set to work, making long furrows,
4 Il Signore è giusto: ha spezzato il giogo degli empi.	4 but Yahweh the upright has shattered the yoke of the wicked.
5 Siano confusi e volgano le spalle quanti odiano Sion.	5 Let al who hate Zion be thrown back in confusion,
6 Siano come l'erba dei tetti: prima che sia strappata, dissecca;	6 let them be like grass on a roof, dried up before it is cut,
7 non se ne riempie la mano il mietitore, né il grembo chi raccoglie covoni.	7 never to fil the reaper's arm nor the binder's lap.
8 I passanti non possono dire: "La benedizione del Signore sia su di voi, vi benediciamo nel nome del Signore".	8 And no passer-by wil say, 'The blessing of Yahweh be on you! 'We bless you in the name ofYahweh.'
