1 Alleluia. Alef. Beato l'uomo che teme il Signore Bet. e trova grande gioia nei suoi comandamenti.	1 Al eluia! How blessed is anyone who fears Yahweh, who delights in his commandments!
2 Ghimel. Potente sulla terra sarà la sua stirpe, Dalet. la discendenza dei giusti sarà benedetta.	2 His descendants shal be powerful on earth, the race of the honest shal receive blessings:
3 He. Onore e ricchezza nella sua casa, Vau. la sua giustizia rimane per sempre.	3 Riches and wealth for his family; his uprightness stands firm for ever.
4 Zain. Spunta nelle tenebre come luce per i giusti, Het. buono, misericordioso e giusto.	4 For the honest he shines as a lamp in the dark, generous, tender-hearted, and upright.
5 Tet. Felice l'uomo pietoso che dà in prestito, Iod. amministra i suoi beni con giustizia.	5 Al goes wel for one who lends generously, who is honest in al his dealing;
6 Caf. Egli non vacillerà in eterno: Lamed. Il giusto sarà sempre ricordato.	6 for al time to come he wil not stumble, for al time to come the upright wil be remembered.
7 Mem. Non temerà annunzio di sventura, Nun. saldo è il suo cuore, confida nel Signore.	7 Bad news holds no fears for him, firm is his heart, trusting in Yahweh.
8 Samech. Sicuro è il suo cuore, non teme, Ain. finché trionferà dei suoi nemici.	8 His heart held steady, he has no fears, til he can gloat over his enemies.
9 Pe. Egli dona largamente ai poveri, Sade. la sua giustizia rimane per sempre, Kof. la sua potenza s'innalza nella gloria.	9 To the needy he gives without stint, his uprightness stands firm for ever; his reputation is founded onstrength.
10 Res. L'empio vede e si adira, Sin. digrigna i denti e si consuma. Tau. Ma il desiderio degli empi fallisce.	10 The wicked are vexed at the sight, they grind their teeth and waste away. The desires of the wickedwil be frustrated.
