BIBLIA	KING JAMES BIBLE
1 Oración del afligido que, en su angustia, derrama su llanto ante Yahveh.	1 Hear my prayer, O LORD, and let my cry come unto thee.
2 Yahveh, escucha mi oración, llegue hasta ti mi grito;	2 Hide not thy face from me in the day when I am in trouble; incline thine ear unto me: in the day when I call answer me speedily.
3 ne ocultes lejos de mí tu rostro el día de mi angustia; tiende hacia mí tu oído, ¡el día en que te invoco, presto, respóndeme!	3 For my days are consumed like smoke, and my bones are burned as an hearth.
4 Pues mis días en humo se disipan, mis huesos arden lo mismo que un brasero;	4 My heart is smitten, and withered like grass; so that I forget to eat my bread.
5 trillado como el heno, mi corazón se seca, y me olvido de comer mi pan;	5 By reason of the voice of my groaning my bones cleave to my skin.
6 ante la voz de mis sollozos, mi piel a mis huesos se ha pegado.	6 I am like a pelican of the wilderness: I am like an owl of the desert.
7 Me parezco al búho del yermo, igual que la lechuza de las ruinas;	7 I watch, and am as a sparrow alone upon the house top.
8 insomne estoy y gimo cual solitario pájaro en tejado;	8 Mine enemies reproach me all the day; and they that are mad against me are sworn against me.
9 me insultan todo el día mis enemigos, los que me alababan maldicen por mi nombre.	9 For I have eaten ashes like bread, and mingled my drink with weeping,
10 El pan que como es la ceniza, mi bebida mezclo con mis lágrimas,	10 Because of thine indignation and thy wrath: for thou hast lifted me up, and cast me down.
11 ante tu cólera y tu enojo, pues tú me alzaste y después me has tirado:	11 My days are like a shadow that declineth; and I am withered like grass.
12 mis días son como la sombra que declina, y yo me seco como el heno.	12 But thou, O LORD, shalt endure for ever; and thy remembrance unto all generations.
13 Mas tú, Yahveh, permaneces para siempre, y tu memoria de edad en edad.	13 Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.
14 Tú te alzarás, compadecido de Sión, pues es ya tiempo de apiadarte de ella, ha llegado la hora;	14 For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and favour the dust thereof.
15 que están tus siervos encariñados de sus piedras y se compadecen de sus ruinas.	15 So the heathen shall fear the name of the LORD, and all the kings of the earth thy glory.
16 Y temerán las naciones el nombre de Yahveh, y todos los reyes de la tierra tu gloria;	16 When the LORD shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory.
17 cuando Yahveh reconstruya a Sión, y aparezca en su gloria,	17 He will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their prayer.
18 volverá su rostro a la oración del despojado, su oración no despreciará.	18 This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall praise the LORD.
19 Se escribirá esto para la edad futura, y en pueblo renovado alabará a Yahveh:	19 For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary; from heaven did the LORD behold the earth;
20 que se ha inclinado Yahveh desde su altura santa, desde los cielos ha mirado a la tierra,	20 To hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death;
21 para oír el suspiro del cautivo, para librar a los hijos de la muerte.	21 To declare the name of the LORD in Zion, and his praise in Jerusalem;
22 Para pregonar en Sión el nombre de Yahveh, y su alabanza en Jerusalén,	22 When the people are gathered together, and the kingdoms, to serve the LORD.
23 cuando a una se congreguen los pueblos, y los reinos para servir a Yahveh.	23 He weakened my strength in the way; he shortened my days.
24 El ha enervado mi fuerza en el camino, ha abreviado mis días.	24 I said, O my God, take me not away in the midst of my days: thy years are throughout all generations.
25 Digo: ¡Dios mío, en la mitad de mis días no me lleves! ¡De edad en edad duran tus años!	25 Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands.
26 Desde antiguo, fundaste tú la tierra, y los cielos son la obra de tus manos;	26 They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed:
27 ellos perecen, mas tú quedas, todos ellos como la ropa se desgastan, como un vestido los mudas tú, y se mudan.	27 But thou art the same, and thy years shall have no end.
28 Pero tú siempre el mismo, no tienen fin tus años.	28 The children of thy servants shall continue, and their seed shall be established before thee.
29 Los hijos de tus siervos tendrán una morada, y su estirpe ante ti subsistirá.
