Psalmen 132

EINHEITSUBERSETZUNG BIBEL	KING JAMES BIBLE
1 [Ein Wallfahrtslied.] O Herr, denk an David, denk an all seine Mühen,	1 LORD, remember David, and all his afflictions:
2 wie er dem Herrn geschworen, dem starken Gott Jakobs gelobt hat:	2 How he sware unto the LORD, and vowed unto the mighty God of Jacob;
3 «Nicht will ich mein Zelt betreten noch mich zur Ruhe betten,	3 Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed;
4 nicht Schlaf den Augen gönnen noch Schlummer den Lidern,	4 I will not give sleep to mine eyes, or slumber to mine eyelids,
5 bis ich eine Stätte finde für den Herrn, eine Wohnung für den starken Gott Jakobs.»	5 Until I find out a place for the LORD, an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob.
6 Wir hörten von seiner Lade in Efrata, fanden sie im Gefilde von Jíar.	6 Lo, we heard of it at Ephratah: we found it in the fields of the wood.
7 Lasst uns hingehen zu seiner Wohnung und niederfallen vor dem Schemel seiner Füße!	7 We will go into his tabernacles: we will worship at his footstool.
8 Erheb dich, Herr, komm an den Ort deiner Ruhe, du und deine machtvolle Lade!	8 Arise, O LORD, into thy rest; thou, and the ark of thy strength.
9 Deine Priester sollen sich bekleiden mit Gerechtigkeit und deine Frommen sollen jubeln.	9 Let thy priests be clothed with righteousness; and let thy saints shout for joy.
10 Weil David dein Knecht ist, weise deinen Gesalbten nicht ab!	10 For thy servant David's sake turn not away the face of thine anointed.
11 Der Herr hat David geschworen, einen Eid, den er niemals brechen wird: «Einen Spross aus deinem Geschlecht will ich setzen auf deinen Thron.	11 The LORD hath sworn in truth unto David; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne.
12 Wenn deine Söhne meinen Bund bewahren, mein Zeugnis, das ich sie lehre, dann sollen auch ihre Söhne auf deinem Thron sitzen für immer.»	12 If thy children will keep my covenant and my testimony that I shall teach them, their children shall also sit upon thy throne for evermore.
13 Denn der Herr hat den Zion erwählt, ihn zu seinem Wohnsitz erkoren:	13 For the LORD hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation.
14 «Das ist für immer der Ort meiner Ruhe; hier will ich wohnen, ich hab ihn erkoren.	14 This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it.
15 Zions Nahrung will ich reichlich segnen, mit Brot seine Armen sättigen.	15 I will abundantly bless her provision: I will satisfy her poor with bread.
16 Seine Priester will ich bekleiden mit Heil, seine Frommen sollen jauchzen und jubeln.	16 I will also clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy.
17 Dort lasse ich Davids Macht erstarken und stelle für meinen Gesalbten ein Licht auf.	17 There will I make the horn of David to bud: I have ordained a lamp for mine anointed.
18 Ich bedecke seine Feinde mit Schande; doch auf ihm erglänzt seine Krone.»	18 His enemies will I clothe with shame: but upon himself shall his crown flourish.
