| 1 E il Signore parlò a Mosè, e disse: | 1 The LORD said to Moses, |
| 2 Questo è il rito della purificazione del lebbroso: Egli sarà condotto al sacerdote: | 2 "This shall be the law of the leper for the day of his cleansing. He shall be brought to the priest; |
| 3 E questi uscito fuor degli alloggiamenti, quando avrà trovato che la lebbra sia guarita, | 3 and the priest shall go out of the camp, and the priest shall make an examination. Then, if the leprous disease is healed in the leper, |
| 4 Ordinerà a colui, che debb'esser purificato, che offerisca per sé due passerotti vivi, i quali è lecito di mangiare, e prenda del legno di cedro, o della lana porporina, e dell’issopo: | 4 the priest shall command them to take for him who is to be cleansed two living clean birds and cedarwood and scarlet stuff and hyssop; |
| 5 E comanderà, che uno de’ passerotti sia immolato in un vaso di terra sopra l'acqua viva: | 5 and the priest shall command them to kill one of the birds in an earthen vessel over running water. |
| 6 E col sangue del passerotto immolato aspergerà l’altro, che è vivo, e il legno di cedro, e la lana porporina, e l’issopo. | 6 He shall take the living bird with the cedarwood and the scarlet stuff and the hyssop, and dip them and the living bird in the blood of the bird that was killed over the running water; |
| 7 E col medesimo aspergerà sette volte colui che dee mondarsi, affinché sia rettamente purificato: e lascerà in libertà il passerotto, che sen voli alla campagna. | 7 and he shall sprinkle it seven times upon him who is to be cleansed of leprosy; then he shall pronounce him clean, and shall let the living bird go into the open field. |
| 8 E l'uomo avendo lavate le sue vesti si raderà tutti i peli del corpo, e si laverà nell’acqua, e purificato rientrerà negli alloggiamenti con questo però, che stia sette giorni fuora del suo tabernacolo; | 8 And he who is to be cleansed shall wash his clothes, and shave off all his hair, and bathe himself in water, and he shall be clean; and after that he shall come into the camp, but shall dwell outside his tent seven days. |
| 9 E il settimo giorno raderà i capelli della testa, e la barba, e le ciglia, e tutti i peli del corpo: e lavate di nuovo le vesti e il corpo, | 9 And on the seventh day he shall shave all his hair off his head; he shall shave off his beard and his eyebrows, all his hair. Then he shall wash his clothes, and bathe his body in water, and he shall be clean. |
| 10 L'ottavo giorno prenderà due agnelli senza macchia, e una pecorella dell'anno senza macchia, e tre decimi di farina aspersa d'olio pel sacrifizio, e un log d'olio a parte. | 10 "And on the eighth day he shall take two male lambs without blemish, and one ewe lamb a year old without blemish, and a cereal offering of three tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil, and one log of oil. |
| 11 E quando il sacerdote che dee purificare quell'uomo lo averà presentato insieme con tutte queste cose dinanzi al Signore alla porta del tabernacolo del testimonio, | 11 And the priest who cleanses him shall set the man who is to be cleansed and these things before the LORD, at the door of the tent of meeting. |
| 12 Prenderà l'agnello, e l’offerirà per il delitto insieme col log d'olio: e offerto tutto questo al Signore, | 12 And the priest shall take one of the male lambs, and offer it for a guilt offering, along with the log of oil, and wave them for a wave offering before the LORD; |
| 13 Immolerà l'agnello, dove suol immolarsi l’ostia per il peccato, e l’olocausto, vale a dire nel luogo santo. Perocché come quella per il peccato, così quella per il delitto appartiene al sacerdote: ella è sacrosanta. | 13 and he shall kill the lamb in the place where they kill the sin offering and the burnt offering, in the holy place; for the guilt offering, like the sin offering, belongs to the priest; it is most holy. |
| 14 E il sacerdote preso del sangue dell'ostia immolata per il delitto, ne stillerà sulla punta dell'orecchio destro di colui che si purifica, e su' pollici della destra mano, e del piede: | 14 The priest shall take some of the blood of the guilt offering, and the priest shall put it on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the great toe of his right foot. |
| 15 E del log d'olio ne verserà sulla sua sinistra, | 15 Then the priest shall take some of the log of oil, and pour it into the palm of his own left hand, |
| 16 E in esso intingerà il suo dito destro, e ne farà sette aspersioni dinanzi al Signore. | 16 and dip his right finger in the oil that is in his left hand, and sprinkle some oil with his finger seven times before the LORD. |
| 17 Quello poi che rimarrà dell'olio sulla mano sinistra, lo verserà sull'estremità dell’orecchio destro di colui che si purifica, e sopra i pollici della mano, e del piè destro, e sopra il sangue sparso per il delitto, | 17 And some of the oil that remains in his hand the priest shall put on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the great toe of his right foot, upon the blood of the guilt offering; |
| 18 E sulla testa dell’uomo: | 18 and the rest of the oil that is in the priest's hand he shall put on the head of him who is to be cleansed. Then the priest shall make atonement for him before the LORD. |
| 19 E farà orazione per lui dinanzi al Signore, e farà sacrifizio per il peccato: allora poi immolerà l’olocausto, | 19 The priest shall offer the sin offering, to make atonement for him who is to be cleansed from his uncleanness. And afterward he shall kill the burnt offering; |
| 20 E Io porrà sull’altare colle sue libagioni: e l’uomo sarà rettamente mondato. | 20 and the priest shall offer the burnt offering and the cereal offering on the altar. Thus the priest shall make atonement for him, and he shall be clean. |
| 21 Che se quegli è povero, e non è capace di trovare le cose che si sono dette, per il delitto prenderà un agnello da offerirsi, affinché il sacerdote preghi per lui, e una decima di farina aspersa d'olio pel sacrifizio, e un log d'olio, | 21 "But if he is poor and cannot afford so much, then he shall take one male lamb for a guilt offering to be waved, to make atonement for him, and a tenth of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil for a cereal offering, and a log of oil; |
| 22 E due tortore, o due colombini, de' quali uno sia per il peccato, l'altro in olocausto: | 22 also two turtledoves or two young pigeons, such as he can afford; the one shall be a sin offering and the other a burnt offering. |
| 23 E gli offerirà l'ottavo giorno di sua purificazione al sacerdote alla porta del tabernacolo del testimonio dinanzi al Signore: | 23 And on the eighth day he shall bring them for his cleansing to the priest, to the door of the tent of meeting, before the LORD; |
| 24 E il sacerdote preso l’agnello per il delitto, e il log d'olio, gli eleverà insieme: | 24 and the priest shall take the lamb of the guilt offering, and the log of oil, and the priest shall wave them for a wave offering before the LORD. |
| 25 E immolato l'agnello, col sangue di esso intriderà la punta dell'orecchio destro di lui, che si purifica, e i pollici della mano di lui, e del piede destro: | 25 And he shall kill the lamb of the guilt offering; and the priest shall take some of the blood of the guilt offering, and put it on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the great toe of his right foot. |
| 26 E verserà una parte dell'olio sulla sua sinistra: | 26 And the priest shall pour some of the oil into the palm of his own left hand; |
| 27 E intintovi un dito della sua destra, ne farà sette volte l’aspersione dinanzi al Signore: | 27 and shall sprinkle with his right finger some of the oil that is in his left hand seven times before the LORD; |
| 28 E intriderà l'estremità dell’orecchio destro di colui che si purifica, e i pollici della mano, e del piè destro nel luogo, dove fu sparso il sangue per il delitto. | 28 and the priest shall put some of the oil that is in his hand on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and the great toe of his right foot, in the place where the blood of the guilt offering was put; |
| 29 E il rimanente dell'olio, ch’egli ha nella sinistra mano, lo verserà sul capo dell’uomo che si purifica, affin di rendere a lui placato il Signore. | 29 and the rest of the oil that is in the priest's hand he shall put on the head of him who is to be cleansed, to make atonement for him before the LORD. |
| 30 E offerirà le due tortorelle, o i due colombini, | 30 And he shall offer, of the turtledoves or young pigeons such as he can afford, |
| 31 Uno per il delitto, e l'altro in olocausto colle loro libagioni. | 31 one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering, along with a cereal offering; and the priest shall make atonement before the LORD for him who is being cleansed. |
| 32 Questo è il sacrifizio del lebbroso, il quale non può avere tutto quello che vi vorrebbe per la sua purificazione. | 32 This is the law for him in whom is a leprous disease, who cannot afford the offerings for his cleansing." |
| 33 E il Signore parlò a Mosè, e ad Aronne, e disse: | 33 The LORD said to Moses and Aaron, |
| 34 Quando voi sarete entrati nella terra di Chanaan, della quale io darovvi il dominio, se il flagello della lebbra si sarà attaccato a una casa, | 34 "When you come into the land of Canaan, which I give you for a possession, and I put a leprous disease in a house in the land of your possession, |
| 35 Anderà il padrone della casa a darne parte al sacerdote, e dirà: Parmi, che nella mia casa vi sia qualche cosa di simile al mal della lebbra. | 35 then he who owns the house shall come and tell the priest, 'There seems to me to be some sort of disease in my house.' |
| 36 E quegli prima d'entrarvi per visitarla darà ordine, che dalla casa sieno portate altrove tutte le cose che vi son dentro, affinché tutto quello che è in casa, non diventi immondo, e poi vi entrerà per esaminare la lebbra: | 36 Then the priest shall command that they empty the house before the priest goes to examine the disease, lest all that is in the house be declared unclean; and afterward the priest shall go in to see the house. |
| 37 E se vede nelle parti come delle fossette bruttamente pallide, e rossiccie, e più incavate del rimanente della superficie, | 37 And he shall examine the disease; and if the disease is in the walls of the house with greenish or reddish spots, and if it appears to be deeper than the surface, |
| 38 Uscirà fuor della porta della casa, e immediatamente la chiuderà per sette giorni. | 38 then the priest shall go out of the house to the door of the house, and shut up the house seven days. |
| 39 E tornato il settimo giorno la esaminerà: se trova che la lebbra sia cresciuta, | 39 And the priest shall come again on the seventh day, and look; and if the disease has spread in the walls of the house, |
| 40 Ordinerà, che se ne smurino le pietre, sulle quali è la lebbra, e fuor della città si gettino in luogo immondo: | 40 then the priest shall command that they take out the stones in which is the disease and throw them into an unclean place outside the city; |
| 41 La casa poi si scalcini di dentro da ogni parte, e i calcinacci si spargano fuori della città in luogo immondo; | 41 and he shall cause the inside of the house to be scraped round about, and the plaster that they scrape off they shall pour into an unclean place outside the city; |
| 42 E che in luogo di quelle che furon levate, si rimettano altre pietre, e s'intonachi di bel nuovo la casa. | 42 then they shall take other stones and put them in the place of those stones, and he shall take other plaster and plaster the house. |
| 43 Ma se dopo averne smurate le pietre, e averla scalcinata, e intonacata di nuovo, | 43 "If the disease breaks out again in the house, after he has taken out the stones and scraped the house and plastered it, |
| 44 Il sacerdote in entrandovi vede, che la lebbra è ritornata, e le pareti sono sparse di macchie, la lebbra è pertinace, e la casa è immonda: | 44 then the priest shall go and look; and if the disease has spread in the house, it is a malignant leprosy in the house; it is unclean. |
| 45 E subito l’atterreranno, e le pietre, e il legname, e tutti i calcinacci li getteranno fuor della città in luogo immondo. | 45 And he shall break down the house, its stones and timber and all the plaster of the house; and he shall carry them forth out of the city to an unclean place. |
| 46 Chi entrerà nella casa nel tempo che è chiusa, sarà immondo fino alla sera: | 46 Moreover he who enters the house while it is shut up shall be unclean until the evening; |
| 47 E chi vi dormirà, o vi mangerà, laverà le sue vesti. | 47 and he who lies down in the house shall wash his clothes; and he who eats in the house shall wash his clothes. |
| 48 Che se il sacerdote entrando nella casa dopo che fu nuovamente intonacata, troverà non esser cresciuta la lebbra, la purificherà, e la dichiarerà sana: | 48 "But if the priest comes and makes an examination, and the disease has not spread in the house after the house was plastered, then the priest shall pronounce the house clean, for the disease is healed. |
| 49 E per la purificazione di essa prenderà due passerotti, e un legno di cedro, e lana porporina, e issopo: | 49 And for the cleansing of the house he shall take two small birds, with cedarwood and scarlet stuff and hyssop, |
| 50 E dopo di aver immolato uno de' passerotti in un vaso di terra sopra acqua viva, | 50 and shall kill one of the birds in an earthen vessel over running water, |
| 51 Prenderà il legno di cedro, e l’issopo, e la lana porporina, e il passerotto vivo, e intingerà ogni cosa nel sangue del passerotto immolato, e nell'acqua viva, e farà sette volte l'aspersione alla casa, | 51 and shall take the cedarwood and the hyssop and the scarlet stuff, along with the living bird, and dip them in the blood of the bird that was killed and in the running water, and sprinkle the house seven times. |
| 52 E se ne farà la purificazione tanto col sangue del passerotto, quanto coll’aqua viva, e col passerotto vivo, e col legno di cedro, e coll’issopo, e colla lana porporina; | 52 Thus he shall cleanse the house with the blood of the bird, and with the running water, and with the living bird, and with the cedarwood and hyssop and scarlet stuff; |
| 53 E messo in libertà il passerotto, che se ne voli alla campagna, farà orazione per la casa, e sarà legittimamente mondata. | 53 and he shall let the living bird go out of the city into the open field; so he shall make atonement for the house, and it shall be clean." |
| 54 Questa è la legge sopra ogni sorta di lebbra, e sopra le piaghe della lebbra, | 54 This is the law for any leprous disease: for an itch, |
| 55 E sopra quella delle vesti, e delle case, | 55 for leprosy in a garment or in a house, |
| 56 E delle cicatrici, e delle pustole, che scappan fuori, e delle macchie lucenti e delle diverse mutazioni di colori, | 56 and for a swelling or an eruption or a spot, |
| 57 Affinché possa sapersi, quando una cosa sia monda, o immonda. | 57 to show when it is unclean and when it is clean. This is the law for leprosy. |
