1 E Beseleel fece pure l'arca di legno di setim; la quale era lunga due cubiti e mezzo, larga un cubito e mezzo, e così pure un cubito e mezzo era alta; la ricoperse di oro finissimo di dentro e di fuori;	1 Bezalel made the ark of acacia wood, two and a half cubits long, one and a half cubits wide, and one and a half cubits high.
2 le fece d'intorno una cornice d'oro;	2 The inside and outside were plated with gold, and a molding of gold was put around it.
3 formò di getto i quattro anelli d'oro pei suoi quattro angoli, due anelli da un lato e due dall'altro;	3 Four gold rings were cast and put on its four supports, two rings for one side and two for the opposite side.
4 fece le stanghe di legno di setim e le rivestì d'oro,	4 Poles of acacia wood were made and plated with gold;
5 e le fece passare dentro gli anelli che erano a rati dell'arca per portarla,	5 these were put through the rings on the sides of the ark, for carrying it.
6 Fece anche il propiziatorio, cioè l'oracolo, d'oro purissimo, lungo due cubiti e mezzo e largo un cubito e mezzo;	6 The propitiatory was made of pure gold, two and a half cubits long and one and a half cubits wide.
7 fece e pose ai due lati del propiziatorio due cherubini d'oro battuto,	7 Two cherubim of beaten gold were made for the two ends of the propitiatory,
8 un cherubino all'estremità d'un lato e l'altro cherubino all'estremità dell'altro lato: questi due cherubini, posti alle due estremità del propiziatorio,	8 one cherub fastened at one end, the other at the other end, springing directly from the propitiatory at its two ends.

11 e la coperse d'oro purissimo, le fece intorno un orlo d'oro	11 It was plated with pure gold, and a molding of gold was put around it.
12 e sull'orlo una cornice d'oro scolpita a traforo e alta quattro dita, e sopra questa un'altra cornice d'oro.	12 A frame a handbreadth high was also put around it, with a molding of gold around the frame.
13 Fece poi i quattro anelli d'oro ai quattro angoli, uno ad ogni piede della tavola,	13 Four rings of gold were cast for it and fastened, one at each of the four corners.
14 sotto la cornice, e infilò in essi le stanghe destinate a portar la tavola.	14 The rings were alongside the frame as holders for the poles to carry the table.
15 Le stanghe le fece pure di legno di setim e le rivestì d'oro.	15 These poles were made of acacia wood and plated with gold.
16 Fece poi d'oro purissimo gli utensili per i diversi usi della mensa: piatti, coppe, tazze, in cui offrire le libazioni, e i turiboli.	16 The vessels that were set on the table, its plates and cups, as well as its pitchers and bowls for pouring libations, were of pure gold.
17 Fece pure il candelabro d'oro finissimo, battuto: dal tronco di esso uscivano i rami, le coppe, le sferette e i gigli.	17 The lampstand was made of pure beaten gold--its shaft and branches as well as its cups and knobs and petals springing directly from it.
18 Sei rami, tre da una parte e tre dall'altra, uscivan dai due lati;	18 Six branches extended from its sides, three branches on one side and three on the other.
19 in un ramo v'eran tre coppe in forma di mandorla, sferette e gigli, e nell'altro ramo tre coppe in forma di mandorla, sferette e gigli. Lo stesso era dei sei rami che uscivan dal tronco del candelabro.	19 On one branch there were three cups, shaped like almond blossoms, each with its knob and petals; on the opposite branch there were three cups, shaped like almond blossoms, each with its knob and petals; and so for the six branches that extended from the lampstand.
20 Il tronco poi aveva quattro coppe in forma di mandorla, ognuna delle quali aveva le sue sferette e i suoi gigli,	20 On the shaft there were four cups, shaped like almond blossoms, with their knobs and petals,
21 e tre sferette in tre luoghi sotto i due rami che insieme fanno sei rami uscenti da un tronco.	21 including a knob below each of the three pairs of branches that extended from the lampstand.
22 Le sferette e i rami eran poi tutti d'un pezzo col tronco, e ogni cosa era d'oro purissimo battuto.	22 The knobs and branches sprang so directly from it that the whole formed but a single piece of pure beaten gold.
23 Fece pure d'oro purissimo sette lampade coi loro smoccolatoi e i portasmoccolature.	23 Its seven lamps, as well as its trimming shears and trays, were made of pure gold.
24 Il candelabro con tutti i suoi strumenti pesava un talento d'oro.	24 A talent of pure gold was used for the lampstand and its various appurtenances.
25 Fece pure di legno di setim l'altare dei profumi, che era un cubito quadrato ed era alto due cubiti, e dagli angoli del quale spuntavano i corni.	25 The altar of incense was made of acacia wood, on a square, a cubit long, a cubit wide, and two cubits high, having horns that sprang directly from it.
26 E lo rivestì d'oro finissimo, così pure la graticola, i lati e i corni.	26 Its grate on top, its walls on all four sides, and its horns were plated with pure gold; and a molding of gold was put around it.
27 Egli fece tutt'all'intorno una cornice d'oro, e due anelli d'oro ai due lati, sotto la cornice, per farvi passare le stanghe che servivano a portarlo.	27 Underneath the molding gold rings were placed, two on one side and two on the opposite side, as holders for the poles to carry it.
28 E le stanghe le fece di legno di setim e le coperse con lamine d'oro.	28 The poles, too, were made of acacia wood and plated with gold.
29 scompose poi l'olio per le unzioni di consacrazione, e il profumo di aromi squisitissimi, secondo l'arte del profumiere.	29 The sacred anointing oil and the fragrant incense were prepared in their pure form by a perfumer.
