Isaia 6

BIBBIA RICCIOTTI	NEW JERUSALEM
1 - Nell'anno in cui morì il re Ozia, vidi il Signore assiso sopra un trono eccelso ed elevato, e ciò ch'era più in basso di lui, riempiva il tempio.	1 In the year of King Uzziah's death I saw the Lord seated on a high and lofty throne; his train fil ed thesanctuary.
2 Sopra di esso stavano dei Serafini con sei ali ciascuno: con due si velavano il volto, con due si coprivano i piedi, e con due volavano.	2 Above him stood seraphs, each one with six wings: two to cover its face, two to cover its feet and two forflying;
3 E cantavano con voci alterne dicendo: «Santo, Santo, Santo il Signore Dio degli eserciti, piena è tutta la terra della sua gloria».	3 and they were shouting these words to each other: Holy, holy, holy is Yahweh Sabaoth. His glory fil s thewhole earth.
4 E gli architravi tremavano sopra gli stipiti a quei cori di voci, e la casa si riempì di fumo.	4 The door-posts shook at the sound of their shouting, and the Temple was ful of smoke.
5 E dissi: «Ohimè, che non ho fatto sentire la mia voce! perchè sono un uomo dalle labbra immonde, e abito in mezzo ad un popolo dalle labbra immonde; eppure è il re, Signore degli eserciti, che hanno veduto gli occhi miei!».	5 Then I said: 'Woe is me! I am lost, for I am a man of unclean lips and I live among a people of uncleanlips, and my eyes have seen the King, Yahweh Sabaoth.'
6 E volò a me uno dei Serafini, e teneva un carbone in mano, preso colle molle di sopra l'altare.	6 Then one of the seraphs flew to me, holding in its hand a live coal which it had taken from the altar witha pair of tongs.
7 E toccò la mia bocca e disse: «Ecco, questo ha toccato le tue labbra, e sarà tolta la tua iniquità e purificato il tuo peccato».	7 With this it touched my mouth and said: 'Look, this has touched your lips, your guilt has been removedand your sin forgiven.'
8 Allora udii la voce del Signore che diceva: «Chi manderò io? e chi andrà per noi?». E io dissi: «Eccomi, manda me».	8 I then heard the voice of the Lord saying: 'Whom shal I send? Who will go for us?' And I said, 'Here amI, send me.'
9 E disse: «Va', e dirai a questo popolo: - Gli orecchi per udire li avete, ma non volete capire, avete gli occhi per vedere, ma non volete intendere. -	9 He said: 'Go, and say to this people, "Listen and listen, but never understand! Look and look, but neverperceive!"
10 Acceca il cuore a questo popolo e indura le sue orecchie e chiudigli gli occhi, affinchè non vegga co' suoi occhi, nè oda coi suoi orecchi, e non comprenda col suo cuore e si converta e lo risani».	10 Make this people's heart coarse, make their ears dul , shut their eyes tight, or they wil use their eyes tosee, use their ears to hear, use their heart to understand, and change their ways and be healed.'
11 E io dissi: «E fino a quando, o Signore?». E disse: «Fino a tanto che le città restino nella desolazione, e le case, disabitate, e sia la terra lasciata in abbandono».	11 I then said, 'Until when, Lord?' He replied, 'Until towns are in ruins and deserted, houses untenantedand a great desolation reigns in the land,
12 E il Signore allontanerà la gente, e crescerà l'abbandono di quella rimasta nel paese.	12 and Yahweh has driven the people away and the country is total y abandoned.
13 Vi sarà ancora, della sua popolazione, appena il decimo, ma tornerà a esser esposta all'ingiuria; come un terebinto e come una quercia che si erge spandendo i propri rami: il seme santo sarà quello che si ergerà sostegno in essa.	13 And suppose one-tenth of them are left in it, that wil be stripped again, like the terebinth, like the oak,cut back to the stock; their stock is a holy seed.'
