1 - Alleluia! Lodate il Signore dai cieli, lodatelo lassù nell'alto.	1 Alleluia. Praise the Lord from the heavens. Praise him on the heights.
2 Lodate o voi tutti, angeli suoi, lodatelo, schiere sue tutte.	2 Praise him, all his Angels. Praise him, all his hosts.
3 Lodatelo, sole e luna, lodatelo, o stelle tutte lucenti.	3 Praise him, sun and moon. Praise him, all stars and light.
4 Lodatelo, o cieli de' cieli, e acque tutte poste al di sopra de' cieli. Lodino il nome del Signore,	4 Praise him, heavens of the heavens. And let all the waters that are above the heavens
5 perchè egli parlò e furon fatti, egli comandò e furon creati.	5 praise the name of the Lord. For he spoke, and they became. He commanded, and they were created.
6 Li stabilì in eterno e ne' secoli de' secoli, una legge pose, che non passerà.	6 He has stationed them in eternity, and for age after age. He has established a precept, and it will not pass away.
7 Lodate il Signore dalla terra, voi draghi e abissi tutti [del mare],	7 Praise the Lord from the earth: you dragons and all deep places,
8 fuoco, grandine, neve, gelo, vento di procella, esecutor di sua parola,	8 fire, hail, snow, ice, windstorms, which do his word,
9 voi monti e colline tutte, alberi fruttiferi e cedri tutti,	9 mountains and all hills, fruitful trees and all cedars,
10 le fiere e tutte le bestie, rettili e uccelli pennuti,	10 wild beasts and all cattle, serpents and feathered flying things,
11 voi re della terra e popoli tutti, principi e giudici tutti della terra,	11 kings of the earth and all peoples, leaders and all judges of the earth,
12 giovani e verginivecchi insieme ai giovani. Lodino il nome del Signore,	12 young men and virgins. Let the older men with the younger men, praise the name of the Lord.
13 perchè eccelso è il nome di lui solo.	13 For his name alone is exalted.
14 La gloria di lui sorpassa il cielo e la terra, e ha inalzato la potenza del suo popolo. [Sia] un inno [in bocca] a tutti i suoi fedeli, ai figliuoli d'Israele, al popolo che gli è da presso. [Alleluia!]	14 Confession of him is beyond heaven and earth, and he has exalted the horn of his people. A hymn to all his holy ones, to the sons of Israel, to a people close to him. Alleluia.
