1 Questi sono i figli d’Israele: Ruben, Simeone, Levi, Giuda, Ìssacar, Zàbulon,	1 And the sons of Israel: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun,
2 Dan, Giuseppe, Beniamino, Nèftali, Gad e Aser.	2 Dan, Joseph, Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.
3 Figli di Giuda: Er, Onan, Sela; i tre gli nacquero dalla figlia di Sua la Cananea. Ma Er, primogenito di Giuda, si rese odioso agli occhi del Signore, che perciò lo fece morire.	3 The sons of Judah: Er, Onan, and Shelah. 22 Segub generò Iair, cui appartennero ventitré città nella regione di Gàlaad.	22 And then Segub conceived Jair, and he possessed twenty-three cities in the land of Gilead.
23 Ghesur e Aram presero loro i villaggi di Iair con Kenat e le dipendenze: sessanta città. Tutti questi furono figli di Machir, padre di Gàlaad.	23 And he seized Geshur and Aram, towns of Jair, and Kenath and its villages, sixty cities. All these were sons of Machir, father of Gilead.

25 I figli di Ieracmeèl, primogenito di Chesron, furono Ram, il primogenito, Buna, Oren, Osem, Achia.	25 Now sons were born to Jerahmeel, the firstborn of Hezron: Ram, his firstborn, and Bunah, and Oren, and Ozem, and Ahijah.
26 Ieracmeèl ebbe una seconda moglie che si chiamava Atarà e fu madre di Onam.	26 Jerahmeel also married another wife, named Atarah, who was the mother of Onam.
27 I figli di Ram, primogenito di Ieracmeèl, furono Maas, Iamin ed Eker.	27 Then too, the sons of Ram, the firstborn of Jerahmeel, were Maaz, Jamin, and Eker.
28 I figli di Onam furono Sammài e Iada. Figli di Sammài: Nadab e Abisùr.	28 And Onam had sons: Shammai and Jada. And the sons of Shammai: Nadab and Abishur.
29 La moglie di Abisùr si chiamava Abiàil e gli partorì Acban e Molid.	29 Truly, the name of the wife of Abishur was Abihail, who bore to him Ahban and Molid.
30 Figli di Nadab furono Seled e Appàim. Seled morì senza figli.	30 Now the sons of Nadab were Seled and Appaim. And Seled died without children.
31 Figli di Appàim: Isèi; figli di Isèi: Sesan; figli di Sesan: Aclài.	31 Truly, the son of Appaim was Ishi. And Ishi conceived Sheshan. Then Sheshan conceived Ahlai.
32 Figli di Iada, fratello di Sammài: Ieter e Giònata. Ieter morì senza figli.	32 But the sons of Jada, the brother of Shammai, were Jether and Jonathan. Then Jether also died without children.
33 Figli di Giònata: Pelet e Zaza. Questi furono i discendenti di Ieracmeèl.	33 And Jonathan conceived Peleth and Zaza. These were the sons of Jerahmeel.
34 Sesan non ebbe figli, ma solo figlie; egli aveva uno schiavo egiziano chiamato Iarca.	34 Now Sheshan did not have sons, but only daughters, and an Egyptian servant named Jarha.

40 Elasà generò Sismài; Sismài generò Sallum;	40 Eleasah conceived Sismai; Sismai conceived Shallum.
41 Sallum generò Iekamia; Iekamia generò Elisamà.	41 Shallum conceived Jekamiah; then Jekamiah conceived Elishama.
42 Figli di Caleb, fratello di Ieracmeèl, furono Mesa, suo primogenito, che fu padre di Zif; il figlio di Maresà fu padre di Ebron.	42 And the sons of Caleb, the brother of Jerahmeel, were Mesha, his firstborn, who was the father of Ziph, and the sons of Mesha, the father of Hebron.
43 Figli di Ebron: Core, Tappùach, Rekem e Sema.	43 Now the sons of Hebron were Korah, and Tapuah, and Rekem, and Shema.

47 Figli di Iadài: Reghem, Iotam, Ghesan, Pelet, Efa e Saaf.	47 And the sons of Jahdai: Regem, and Jotham, and Geshan, and Pelet, and Ephah, and Shaaph.
48 Maacà, concubina di Caleb, partorì Seber e Tircanà;	48 And Maacah, the concubine of Caleb, bore Sheber and Tirhanah.
49 partorì anche Saaf, padre di Madmannà, e Seva, padre di Macbenà e padre di Gàbaa. Figlia di Caleb fu Acsa.	49 Then Shaaph, the father of Madmannah, conceived Sheva, the father of Machbenah, and the father of Gibea. Truly, the daughter of Caleb was Achsah.
50 Questi furono i figli di Caleb. Figli di Cur, primogenito di Èfrata: Sobal, padre di Kiriat-Iearìm,	50 These were the sons of Caleb, the son of Hur, the firstborn of Ephratha: Shobal, the father of Kiriath-jearim;
51 Salma, padre di Betlemme, Caref, padre di Bet-Gader.	51 Salma, the father of Bethlehem; Hareph, the father of Bethgader.
52 I figli di Sobal, padre di Kiriat-Iearìm, furono Reaià, la metà dei Manactei	52 Now there were sons for Shobal, the father of Kiriath-jearim, who saw half the places of rest.

54 Figli di Salma: Betlemme, i Netofatiti, Atròt-Bet-Ioab e la metà dei Manactei, i Soriti	54 The sons of Salma: Bethlehem, and the Netophathites, the crowns of the house of Joab, and half the places of rest of the Zorathites,
55 e le famiglie degli scribi che abitavano a Iabes: i Tiratei, i Simatei e i Sucatei. Questi sono i Keniti, discendenti da Cammat, padre della casa di Recab.	55 as well as the families of the scribes living in Jabesh, those singing and making music, and those dwelling in tents. These are the Kenites, who went forth from Calor, the father of the house of Rechab.
