2 Giuda divenne il suo santuario, Israele il suo dominio.	2 Judah became God's holy place, Israel, God's domain.
3 Il mare vide e si ritrasse, il Giordano si volse indietro,	3 The sea beheld and fled; the Jordan turned back.
4 i monti saltellarono come arieti, le colline come agnelli di un gregge.	4 The mountains skipped like rams; the hills, like lambs of the flock.
5 Che hai tu, mare, per fuggire, e tu, Giordano, perché torni indietro?	5 Why was it, sea, that you fled? Jordan, that you turned back?
6 Perché voi monti saltellate come arieti e voi colline come agnelli di un gregge?	6 You mountains, that you skipped like rams? You hills, like lambs of the flock?
