1 Cantico. Salmo dei figli di Korakh.	1 [Song Psalm Of the sons of Korah] Great is Yahweh and most worthy of praise in the city of our God,the holy mountain,
2 Grande è Jahvè, assai degno di lode; nella città del nostro Dio.	2 towering in beauty, the joy of the whole world: Mount Zion in the heart of the north, the settlement ofthe great king;
3 Il suo santo monte si leva grazioso, gaudio di tutta la terra. Monte Sion, estremo aquilone, città del gran re.	3 God himself among its palaces has proved himself its bulwark.
4 Dio è nei suoi torrioni, si è dimostrato come rocca.	4 For look, kings made al iance, together they advanced;

9 Come avevamo udito così ora abbiamo veduto, nella città di Jahvè degli eserciti, nella città del nostro Dio. Dio la rende salda in eterno.	9 We reflect on your faithful love, God, in your temple!
10 Andiamo ripensando, o Dio, le tue grazie nel mezzo del tuo tempio.	10 Both your name and your praise, God, are over the whole wide world. Your right hand is ful of savingjustice,
11 Come il tuo nome, così la tua lode, giunge all’estremità della terra. Di giustizia è piena la tua destra,	11 Mount Zion rejoices, the daughters of Judah delight because of your saving justice.
12 si allieta il monte Sion. Gioiscono le figlie di Giuda, a causa dei tuoi giudizi.	12 Go round Zion, walk right through her, count her bastions,
13 Girate intorno a Sion e circondatela, contate le sue torri.	13 admire her walls, examine her palaces, to tel future generations
14 Fate attenzione alle sue muraglie, passatene in rassegna i torrioni per narrarne alla generazione ventura;	14 that such is God; our God for ever and ever, he is our guide!
15 perché questi è Jahvè, il nostro Dio in eterno e oltre; egli ci guida.
