1 Cántico. Salmo. De Asaf.	1 A song; a psalm of Asaph.
2 ¡Oh Dios, no te estés mudo, cese ya tu silencio y tu reposo, oh Dios!	2 God, do not be silent; God, be not still and unmoved!
3 Mira cómo tus enemigos braman, los que te odian levantan la cabeza.	3 See how your enemies rage; your foes proudly raise their heads.
4 Contra tu pueblo maquinan intriga, conspiran contra tus protegidos;	4 They conspire against your people, plot against those you protect.
5 dicen: «Venid, borrémoslos de las naciones, no se recuerde más el nombre de Israel!»	5 They say, "Come, let us wipe out their nation; let Israel's name be mentioned no more!"
6 Así conspiran de corazón a una, pactan una alianza contra ti:	6 They scheme with one mind, in league against you:
7 las tiendas de Edom, los ismaelitas, Moab y los hagreos,	7 The tents of Ishmael and Edom, the people of Moab and Hagar,
8 Guebal, Ammón, Amalec, Filistea con los habitantes de Tiro;	8 Gebal, Ammon, and Amalek, Philistia and the inhabitants of Tyre.
9 también Assur se ha juntado a ellos y se hace el brazo de los hijos de Lot.	9 Assyria, too, in league with them gives aid to the descendants of Lot. Selah
10 Trátalos como a Madián y como a Sísara, Pausa. como a Yabín en el torrente de Quisón,	10 Deal with them as with Midian; as with Sisera and Jabin at the torrent Kishon,
11 que fueron exterminados en Endor, quedaron hechos estiércol de la tierra.	11 Those destroyed at Endor, who became dung for the ground.
12 Trata a sus caudillos como a Oreb y Zeeb, a todos sus príncipes como a Zébaj y a Salmunná,	12 Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb, all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna,
13 que habían dicho: «¡Para nosotros conquistemos los dominios de Dios!»	13 Who made a plan together, "Let us seize the pastures of God."
14 Dios mío, ponlos como hoja en remolino, como paja ante el viento.	14 My God, turn them into withered grass, into chaff flying before the wind.
15 Como el fuego abrasa una selva, como la llama devora las montañas,	15 As a fire raging through a forest, a flame setting mountains ablaze,
16 así persíguelos con tu tormenta, con tu huracán llénalos de terror.	16 Pursue them with your tempest; terrify them with your storm.
17 Cubre sus rostros de ignominia, para que busquen tu nombre, Yahveh.	17 Cover their faces with shame, till they pay you homage, LORD.
18 ¡Sean avergonzados y aterrados para siempre, queden confusos y perezcan,	18 Let them be dismayed and shamed forever; let them perish in disgrace.
19 para que sepan que sólo tú tienes el nombre de Yahveh, Altísimo sobre toda la tierra!	19 Show them you alone are the LORD, the Most High over all the earth.
