Psalmen 94

EINHEITSUBERSETZUNG BIBEL	KING JAMES BIBLE
1 Gott der Vergeltung, o Herr, du Gott der Vergeltung, erscheine!	1 O LORD God, to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew thyself.
2 Erhebe dich, Richter der Erde, vergilt den Stolzen ihr Tun!	2 Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth: render a reward to the proud.
3 Wie lange noch dürfen die Frevler, o Herr, wie lange noch dürfen die Frevler frohlocken?	3 LORD, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph?
4 Sie führen freche Reden, alle, die Unrecht tun, brüsten sich.	4 How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?
5 Herr, sie zertreten dein Volk, sie unterdrücken dein Erbteil.	5 They break in pieces thy people, O LORD, and afflict thine heritage.
6 Sie bringen die Witwen und Waisen um und morden die Fremden.	6 They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless.
7 Sie denken: Der Herr sieht es ja nicht, der Gott Jakobs merkt es nicht.	7 Yet they say, The LORD shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard it.
8 Begreift doch, ihr Toren im Volk! Ihr Unvernünftigen, wann werdet ihr klug?	8 Understand, ye brutish among the people: and ye fools, when will ye be wise?
9 Sollte der nicht hören, der das Ohr gepflanzt hat, sollte der nicht sehen, der das Auge geformt hat?	9 He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?
10 Sollte der nicht strafen, der die Völker erzieht, er, der die Menschen Erkenntnis lehrt?	10 He that chastiseth the heathen, shall not he correct? he that teacheth man knowledge, shall not he know?
11 Der Herr kennt die Gedanken der Menschen: Sie sind nichts als ein Hauch.	11 The LORD knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.
12 Wohl dem Mann, den du, Herr, erziehst, den du mit deiner Weisung belehrst.	12 Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O LORD, and teachest him out of thy law;
13 Du bewahrst ihn vor bösen Tagen, bis man dem Frevler die Grube gräbt.	13 That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged for the wicked.
14 Ja, der Herr wird sein Volk nicht verstoßen und niemals sein Erbe verlassen.	14 For the LORD will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.
15 Nun spricht man wieder Recht nach Gerechtigkeit; ihr folgen alle Menschen mit redlichem Herzen.	15 But judgment shall return unto righteousness: and all the upright in heart shall follow it.
16 Wer wird sich für mich gegen die Frevler erheben, wer steht für mich ein gegen den, der Unrecht tut?	16 Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?
17 Wäre nicht der Herr meine Hilfe, bald würde ich im Land des Schweigens wohnen.	17 Unless the LORD had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence.
18 Wenn ich sage: «Mein Fuß gleitet aus», dann stützt mich, Herr, deine Huld.	18 When I said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O LORD, held me up.
19 Mehren sich die Sorgen des Herzens, so erquickt dein Trost meine Seele.	19 In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul.
20 Kann sich mit dir der bestechliche Richter verbünden, der willkürlich straft, gegen das Gesetz?	20 Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief by a law?
21 Sie wollen das Leben des Gerechten vernichten und verurteilen schuldlose Menschen.	21 They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood.
22 Doch meine Burg ist der Herr, mein Gott ist der Fels meiner Zuflucht.	22 But the LORD is my defence; and my God is the rock of my refuge.
23 Er wird ihnen ihr Unrecht vergelten und sie wegen ihrer Bosheit vernichten; vernichten wird sie der Herr, unser Gott.	23 And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; yea, the LORD our God shall cut them off.
