Psalmen 81

EINHEITSUBERSETZUNG BIBEL	NEW JERUSALEM
1 [Für den Chormeister. Nach dem Kelterlied. Von Asaf.]	1 [For the choirmaster On the . . . of Gath Of Asaph] Sing for joy to God our strength, shout in triumph tothe God of Jacob.
2 Jubelt Gott zu, er ist unsre Zuflucht; jauchzt dem Gott Jakobs zu!	2 Strike up the music, beat the tambourine, play the melodious harp and the lyre;
3 Stimmt an den Gesang, schlagt die Pauke, die liebliche Laute, dazu die Harfe!	3 blow the trumpet for the new month, for the ful moon, for our feast day!
4 Stoßt in die Posaune am Neumond und zum Vollmond, am Tag unsres Festes!	4 For Israel has this statute, a decision of the God of Jacob,
5 Denn das ist Satzung für Israel, Entscheid des Gottes Jakobs.	5 a decree he imposed on Joseph, when he went to war against Egypt. I heard a voice unknown to me,
6 Das hat er als Gesetz für Josef erlassen, als Gott gegen Ägypten auszog. Eine Stimme höre ich, die ich noch nie vernahm:	6 'I freed his shoulder from the burden, his hands were able to lay aside the labourer's basket.
7 Seine Schulter hab ich von der Bürde befreit, seine Hände kamen los vom Lastkorb.	7 You cried out in your distress, so I rescued you. 'Hidden in the storm, I answered you, I tested you atthe waters of Meribah.Pause
8 Du riefst in der Not und ich riss dich heraus; ich habe dich aus dem Gewölk des Donners erhört, an den Wassern von Meríba geprüft. [Sela]	8 Listen, my people, while I give you warning; Israel, if only you would listen to me!
9 Höre, mein Volk, ich will dich mahnen! Israel, wolltest du doch auf mich hören!	9 'You shal have no strange gods, shall worship no alien god.
10 Für dich gibt es keinen andern Gott. Du sollst keinen fremden Gott anbeten.	10 I, Yahweh, am your God, who brought you here from Egypt, you have only to open your mouth forme to fil it.
11 Ich bin der Herr, dein Gott, der dich heraufgeführt hat aus Ägypten. Tu deinen Mund auf! Ich will ihn füllen.	11 'My people would not listen to me, Israel would have none of me.
12 Doch mein Volk hat nicht auf meine Stimme gehört; Israel hat mich nicht gewollt.	12 So I left them to their stubborn selves, to fol ow their own devices.
13 Da überließ ich sie ihrem verstockten Herzen und sie handelten nach ihren eigenen Plänen.	13 'If only my people would listen to me, if only Israel would walk in my ways,
14 Ach dass doch mein Volk auf mich hörte, dass Israel gehen wollte auf meinen Wegen!	14 at one stroke I would subdue their enemies, turn my hand against their opponents.
15 Wie bald würde ich seine Feinde beugen, meine Hand gegen seine Bedränger wenden.	15 'Those who hate Yahweh would woo his favour, though their doom was sealed for ever,
16 Alle, die den Herrn hassen, müssten Israel schmeicheln und das sollte für immer so bleiben.	16 while I would feed him on pure wheat, would give you your fil of honey from the rock.'
17 Ich würde es nähren mit bestem Weizen und mit Honig aus dem Felsen sättigen.
