EINHEITSUBERSETZUNG BIBEL	KING JAMES BIBLE
1 [Ein Psalm Davids, als er vor seinem Sohn Abschalom floh.]	1 LORD, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me.
2 Herr, wie zahlreich sind meine Bedränger; so viele stehen gegen mich auf.	2 Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah.
3 Viele gibt es, die von mir sagen: «Er findet keine Hilfe bei Gott.» [Sela]	3 But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.
4 Du aber, Herr, bist ein Schild für mich, du bist meine Ehre und richtest mich auf.	4 I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah.
5 Ich habe laut zum Herrn gerufen; da erhörte er mich von seinem heiligen Berg. [Sela]	5 I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me.
6 Ich lege mich nieder und schlafe ein, ich wache wieder auf, denn der Herr beschützt mich.	6 I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about.
7 Viele Tausende von Kriegern fürchte ich nicht, wenn sie mich ringsum belagern.	7 Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly.
8 Herr, erhebe dich, mein Gott, bring mir Hilfe! Denn all meinen Feinden hast du den Kiefer zerschmettert, hast den Frevlern die Zähne zerbrochen.	8 Salvation belongeth unto the LORD: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.
9 Beim Herrn findet man Hilfe. Auf dein Volk komme dein Segen! [Sela]
