1 [Ein Lied. Ein Psalm Davids.]	1 [Song Psalm Of David] My heart is ready, God, I will sing and make music; come, my glory!
2 Mein Herz ist bereit, o Gott, mein Herz ist bereit, ich will dir singen und spielen. Wach auf, meine Seele!	2 Awake, lyre and harp, I will awake the Dawn!
3 Wacht auf, Harfe und Saitenspiel! Ich will das Morgenrot wecken.	3 I wil praise you among the peoples, Yahweh, I wil play to you among nations,
4 Ich will dich vor den Völkern preisen, Herr, dir vor den Nationen lobsingen.	4 for your faithful love towers to heaven, and your constancy to the clouds.
5 Denn deine Güte reicht, so weit der Himmel ist, deine Treue, so weit die Wolken ziehn.	5 Be exalted above the heavens, God. Your glory over the whole earth!
6 Erheb dich über die Himmel, o Gott! Deine Herrlichkeit erscheine über der ganzen Erde.	6 To rescue those you love, save with your right hand and answer us.
7 Hilf mit deiner Rechten, erhöre uns, damit die gerettet werden, die du so sehr liebst.	7 God has spoken from his sanctuary, 'In triumph I wil divide up Shechem, and share out the Val ey ofSuccoth.
8 Gott hat in seinem Heiligtum gesprochen: «Ich will triumphieren, will Sichem verteilen und das Tal von Sukkot vermessen.	8 'Mine is Gilead, mine Manasseh, Ephraim the helmet on my head, Judah my commander's baton,
9 Mein ist Gilead, mein auch Manasse, Efraim ist der Helm auf meinem Haupt, Juda mein Herrscherstab.	9 'Moab a bowl for me to wash in, on Edom I plant my sandal, over Philistia I cry victory.'
10 Doch Moab ist mein Waschbecken, auf Edom werfe ich meinen Schuh, ich triumphiere über das Land der Philister.»	10 Who will lead me against a fortified city, who wil guide me into Edom,
11 Wer führt mich hin zu der befestigten Stadt, wer wird mich nach Edom geleiten?	11 if not you, the God who has rejected us? God, you no longer march with our armies.
12 Gott, hast denn du uns verworfen? Du ziehst ja nicht aus, o Gott, mit unsern Heeren.	12 Bring us help in our time of crisis, any human assistance is worthless.
13 Bring uns doch Hilfe im Kampf mit dem Feind! Denn die Hilfe von Menschen ist nutzlos.	13 With God we shal do deeds of valour, he wil trample down our enemies.
14 Mit Gott werden wir Großes vollbringen; er selbst wird unsere Feinde zertreten.
