2 O Signore, nostro Signore, quanto è ammirabile il tuo nome in tutta la terra! La tua maestà s'innalza al di sopra dei cieli.	2 O LORD, our Lord, how awesome is your name through all the earth! You have set your majesty above the heavens!
3 Dalla bocca dei bambini e dei lattanti hai fatto sgorgare perfetta lode a confusione dei tuoi nemici, per annientare l'avversario e il vendicativo.	3 Out of the mouths of babes and infants you have drawn a defense against your foes, to silence enemy and avenger.
4 Quando contemplo i tuoi cieli, l'opera delle tue dita, la luna e le stelle da te disposte,	4 When I see your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and stars that you set in place--
5 Che è l'uomo da ricordarti di lui, o il figlio dell'uomo da visitarlo?	5 What are humans that you are mindful of them, mere mortals that you care for them?
6 Lo hai fatto di poco inferiore agli angeli, lo hai coronato di maestà e di gloria,	6 Yet you have made them little less than a god, crowned them with glory and honor.
7 L'hai costituito sopra l'opera delle tue mani.	7 You have given them rule over the works of your hands, put all things at their feet:
8 Tutto hai sottoposto ai suoi piedi: le pecore e tutti i buoi ed anche le fiere della campagna.	8 All sheep and oxen, even the beasts of the field,
9 Gli uccelli dell'aria e i pesci del mare, che percorrono le vie del mare.	9 The birds of the air, the fish of the sea, and whatever swims the paths of the seas.
10 O Signore, Signore nostro, quanto è ammirabile il tuo nome in tutta la terra!	10 O LORD, our Lord, how awesome is your name through all the earth!
