1 (Per la fine. Salmo di David. Cantico di Geremia e d'Ezechiele per il popolo emigrante, quando cominciò a partire).	1 Unto the end. A Psalm of David. A Canticle of Jeremiah and Ezekiel to the people of the captivity, when they began to go into exile.
2 A te si conviene l'inno, o Dio, in Sionne, a te sarà sciolto il voto in Gerusalemme.	2 O God, a hymn adorns you in Zion, and a vow will be repaid to you in Jerusalem.
3 Esaudisci la mia preghiera: a te ricorre ogni persona.	3 Hear my prayer: all flesh will come to you.
4 Le parole degli iniqui han prevalso sopra di noi, ma tu sarai propizio alle nostre empietà.	4 Words of iniquity have prevailed over us. And you will pardon our impieties.
5 Beato colui che tu hai scelto e preso teco! Abiterà nei tuoi cortili. Ci sazieremo dei beni della tua casa. Santo è il tuo tempio,	5 Blessed is he whom you have chosen and taken up. He will dwell in your courts. We will be filled with the good things of your house. Holy is your temple:
6 Mirabile per l'equità. Ascolta le nostre preghiere, o Dio, nostro salvatore, speranza di tutte le parti della terra e delle isole più lontane.	6 wonderful in equity. Hear us, O God our Savior, the hope of all the ends of the earth and of a sea far away.
7 Tu, che disponi i monti colla tua forza, ti armi di potenza;	7 You prepare the mountains in your virtue, wrapped with power.
8 Tu che sconvolgi il profondo del mare e ne fai rumoreggiare i flutti. Sono in agitazione le genti,	8 You stir up the depths of the sea, the noise of its waves. The nations will be troubled,
9 E le più remote, alla vista dei tuoi prodigi. Tu inebrii di giubilo dall'oriente all'occidente.	9 and those who dwell at the limits will be afraid, before your signs. You will make the passing of morning and evening enjoyable.
10 Tu visiti la terra e la irrighi, moltiplichi le sue ricchezze, il fiume divino è colmo d'acque. Così prepari il cibo agli uomini, preparando in tal maniera la terra.	10 You have visited the earth, and you have saturated it. You have enriched it in so many ways. The river of God has been filled with water. You have prepared their food. For thus is its preparation.
11 Inebria i suoi ruscelli, moltiplica i suoi germogli: sotto le piogge si rallegrerà germogliando.	11 Drench its streams, multiply its fruits; it will spring up and rejoice in its showers.
12 Benedici benignamente la corona dell'anno, e i tuoi campi saran pieni d'abbondanti raccolti.	12 You will bless the crown of the year with your kindness, and your fields will be filled with abundance.
13 Si faran pingui le parti più belle del deserto, e i colli si cingeranno di letizia.	13 The beauty of the desert will fatten, and the hills will be wrapped with exultation.
14 Gli arieti del gregge si son rivestiti, le valli abbonderanno di frumento: alzeranno la voce e canteranno inni di lode.	14 The rams of the sheep have been clothed, and the valleys will abound with grain. They will cry out; yes, they will even utter a hymn.
