Isaia 55

BIBBIA RICCIOTTI	KING JAMES BIBLE
1 - O voi tutti assetati, venite alle acque, voi che non avete denaro affrettatevi, comprate e mangiate; venite e comprate senza denaro, e senza nessuno scambio, vino e latte.	1 Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
2 Perchè spendete il denaro in ciò che non è pane, e la vostra fatica in ciò che non sazia? Udite me, e cibatevi di quello che è buono, e l'anima vostra sentirà le delizie del pingue alimento.	2 Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.
3 Porgete il vostro orecchio e venite a me: ascoltate, e l'anima vostra vivrà; ristabilirò con voi il patto eterno, le misericordie assicurate a David.	3 Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.
4 Ecco l'ho posto testimone ai popoli, condottiero e maestro alle nazioni.	4 Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people.
5 Ecco che tu chiamerai le genti che non conoscevi, e quelle che non ti conoscevano correranno a te, per riguardo del Signore e Dio tuo, e del Santo di Israele, perchè ti ha glorificato.	5 Behold, thou shalt call a nation that thou knowest not, and nations that knew not thee shall run unto thee because of the LORD thy God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he hath glorified thee.
6 Cercate il Signore mentre si può trovare, invocatelo mentre è vicino.	6 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
7 L'empio lasci la sua via e l'uomo iniquo i suoi propositi; e ritorni al Signore che gli userà misericordia, e al nostro Dio che è largo nel perdonare.	7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
8 Perchè i miei propositi non sono i vostri, e le vie vostre non sono le vie mie, dice il Signore.	8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
9 Perchè quanto il cielo è più alto della terra, altrettanto le mie vie sono più alte delle vostre, e i miei propositi al di sopra dei vostri.	9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
10 E quale la pioggia e la neve che scendono dal cielo e non vi fanno ritorno, ma innaffiano la terra e la fecondano e la fanno germinare, dando seme da seminare e pane da mangiare;	10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
11 tale sarà la mia parola; una volta uscita dalla mia bocca non tornerà a me senza frutto, ma opererà tutto quello che io voglio, e prospererà in quelle cose per cui l'ho inviata.	11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
12 Perchè con allegrezza uscirete, e in pace sarete ricondotti; i monti ed i colli festeggeranno il vostro apparire con cantici, e tutte le piante della campagna applaudiranno.	12 For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
13 In luogo dello spino crescerà l'abete, e invece dell'ortica spunterà il mirto: e il Signore renderà il suo nome eternamente celebre e segnalato, che non scomparirà mai più.	13 Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.
