1 - Riunita adunque tutta la moltitudine de' figli d'Israele, Mosè disse loro: «Ecco quello che il Signore ha comandato di fare:	1 Therefore, when all the multitude of the sons of Israel had gathered together, he said to them: “These are the things that the Lord has ordered to be done:
2 - Per sei giorni lavorerete; il giorno settimo sarà santo per voi, sabato e riposo del Signore; chi in esso lavorerà, sarà ucciso.	2 For six days you shall do work; the seventh day, the Sabbath and the rest of the Lord, will be holy to you; whoever will have done any work in it shall be killed.
3 Non accenderete fuoco in tutte le vostre abitazioni nel giorno di sabato -».	3 You shall not kindle a fire in any of your dwelling places throughout the day of the Sabbath.”
4 Poi disse Mosè a tutta la turba de' figliuoli di Israele: «Ecco il comandamento dato dal Signore, il quale ha detto:	4 And Moses said to the entire crowd of the sons of Israel: “This is the word which the Lord has instructed, saying:
5 - Mettete da parte le vostre cose migliori per il Signore. Chi ha buona volontà ed è ben disposto, le offra al Signore: oro, argento e bronzo;	5 Separate from among you the first-fruits to the Lord. Let all who are willing and have a ready soul offer these to the Lord: gold, and silver, and brass,
6 giacinto, porpora, cocco tinto due volte, e bisso; peli di capra,	6 hyacinth, and purple, and twice-dyed scarlet, and fine linen, the hair of goats,
7 pelli d'ariete tinte in rosso ed in violetto; legno di setim;	7 and the skins of rams, dyed red, and violet skins, setim wood,
8 olio per apprestare le lampade, e per farne unguento e profumo soavissimo;	8 and oil to prepare lights and to produce ointment, and most sweet incense,
9 pietre di onice, e gemme per ornamento del sopraomerale e del razionale.	9 onyx stones and gems, to adorn the ephod and the breastplate.
10 Chiunque di voi abile, venga, e faccia quello che il Signore gli ha comandato;	10 And whoever among you is wise, let him come and make what the Lord has commanded:
11 cioè: il tabernacolo, la sua tenda e la sua copertura; anelli, assi e traverse, piuoli e basi;	11 the tabernacle, certainly, and its roof, and also the covering, the rings, and the panels with the bars, the tent pegs and the bases,
12 l'arca e le sue stanghe, il propiziatorio ed il velo che deve esservi steso davanti;	12 the ark and its bars, the propitiatory, and the veil that is drawn before it,
13 la mensa con le sue stanghe e vasi e i pani della proposizione;	13 the table with its bars and vessels, and the bread of the presence,
14 il candelabro per regger le lampade, i suoi attrezzi, le lucerne con l'olio per mantenerle accese;	14 the lampstand to hold up the lights, its vessels and lamps, and the oil to the nourish the fire,
15 l'altare dell'incenso, le sue stanghe, l'olio della consacrazione, e l'incenso aromatico; la tenda all'ingresso del tabernacolo;	15 the altar of incense and its bars, and the oil of unction, and the incense of aromatics, the tent at the door of the tabernacle,
16 l'altare dell'olocausto, la sua graticola di bronzo con le sue stanghe ed i suoi attrezzi; la vasca con la sua base;	16 the altar of holocaust and its grate of brass, with the bars and vessels, the washtub and its base,
17 le cortine dell'atrio con le colonne e le basi; la tenda all'ingresso del vestibolo;	17 the curtains of the atrium, with the columns and the bases, the hanging at the doors of the vestibule,
18 i piuoli del tabernacolo e dell'atrio, con le loro corde;	18 the tent pegs of the tabernacle and the atrium, with their little cords,
19 i vestimenti da usare nel servizio del santuario; le vesti d'Aronne pontefice e de' suoi figliuoli, acciò esercitino il mio sacerdozio -».	19 the vestments, which are to be used in the ministry of the Sanctuary, the vestments of Aaron, the high priest, as well as those of his sons, in order to exercise the priesthood to me.”
20 Uscita dunque tutta la moltitudine de' figliuoli d'Israele dal cospetto di Mosè,	20 And all the multitude of the sons of Israel, departing from the sight of Moses,
21 con grande sollecitudine e fervore offrirono le cose più preziose al Signore, per la costruzione del tabernacolo della testimonianza. Tutto quello che era necessario per il culto e per le vesti sacre,	21 offered the first-fruits to the Lord with a most ready and devout mind, to accomplish the work of the tabernacle of the testimony. Whatever was needed for worship and for the holy vestments,
22 uomini e donne l'offrirono: catenelle, orecchini, anelli, braccialetti; tutta la suppellettile d'oro fu messa da parte come donativo al Signore.	22 men along with women provided: arm bands and earrings, rings and bracelets. And every vessel of gold was separated, to be donated to the Lord.
23 Chiunque aveva giacinto, porpora, cocco tinto due volte, bisso, peli di capra, pelli d'ariete tinte in rosso ed in violetto,	23 If anyone had hyacinth, and purple, and twice-dyed scarlet, fine linen and the hair of goats, the skins of rams, dyed red, and violet skins,
24 vasellame d'argento e, d'oro, lo offrì al Signore; come pure il legno di setim per diversi usi.	24 metal of silver and brass, they offered it to the Lord, along with setim wood for various uses.
25 Le donne più abili filarono e dettero giacinto, porpora, scarlatto, bisso,	25 But the skillful women also gave whatever they had spun: hyacinth, purple, and vermillion, as well as fine linen,
26 e peli di capra, offrendo spontaneamente tutto quel che avevano.	26 and the hair of goats, donating everything of their own accord.
27 I maggiorenti poi offrirono pietre d'onice e gemme, per il sopraomerale ed il razionale;	27 Yet truly, the leaders offered onyx stones and gems, for the ephod and the breastplate,
28 aromi ed olio per accomodare le lampade, preparare l'unguento, e comporre l'incenso dal soavissimo odore.	28 and aromatics and oil, to maintain the lights, and to prepare ointment, and also to produce incense with a most sweet odor.
29 Tutti, uomini e donne, con devoto affetto offrirono donativi, perché fossero eseguite le cose comandate dal Signore per mezzo di Mosè. Tutti i figli d'Israele consacrarono doni volontari al Signore.	29 All the men and women offered donations with a devout mind, so that the works might be done which the Lord had ordered by the hand of Moses. All the sons of Israel dedicated voluntary offerings to the Lord.
30 Disse Mosè ai figli d'Israele: «Ecco, il Signore ha chiamato per nome Beseleel, figlio di Uri figlio di Hur, della tribù di Giuda;	30 And Moses said to the sons of Israel: “Behold, the Lord has called by name Bezalel, the son of Uri, the son of Hur, from the tribe of Judah,
31 e l'ha riempito dello spirito di Dio, di sapienza, intelligenza, e scienza e d'ogni abilità	31 and he has filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, and understanding, and knowledge, and all teaching,
32 per inventare ed eseguire lavori in oro, argento e bronzo,	32 to design and to fashion, with gold and silver and brass,
33 scolpire pietre, e lavorare legname; per qualunque lavoro d'arte che possa occorrere,	33 and with engraving stones, and with the skill of a carpenter. Whatever can be skillfully invented,
34 gli ha dato l'abilità. Lo stesso ha fatto con Ooliab figlio d'Achisamec, della tribù di Dan.	34 he has given to his heart. It is likewise with Oholiab, the son of Ahisamach from the tribe of Dan.
35 Ad ambedue ha dato intelligenza per fare lavori in legno, tessuti di vario colore ed in ricamo, di giacinto, porpora, cocco tinto due volte, e bisso, acciò tessano di tutte queste cose, e ne inventino delle nuove d'ogni sorta».	35 He has taught both of them wisdom, in order to do the work of carpentry, tapestry, and embroidery, from hyacinth, and purple, and twice-dyed scarlet, and fine linen, and every textile, and to discover whatever may be new.”
