1 - Riunita adunque tutta la moltitudine de' figli d'Israele, Mosè disse loro: «Ecco quello che il Signore ha comandato di fare:	1 Moses assembled the whole Israelite community and said to them, "This is what the LORD has commanded to be done.
2 - Per sei giorni lavorerete; il giorno settimo sarà santo per voi, sabato e riposo del Signore; chi in esso lavorerà, sarà ucciso.	2 On six days work may be done, but the seventh day shall be sacred to you as the sabbath of complete rest to the LORD. Anyone who does work on that day shall be put to death.
3 Non accenderete fuoco in tutte le vostre abitazioni nel giorno di sabato -».	3 You shall not even light a fire in any of your dwellings on the sabbath day."
4 Poi disse Mosè a tutta la turba de' figliuoli di Israele: «Ecco il comandamento dato dal Signore, il quale ha detto:	4 Moses told the whole Israelite community, "This is what the LORD has commanded:
5 - Mettete da parte le vostre cose migliori per il Signore. Chi ha buona volontà ed è ben disposto, le offra al Signore: oro, argento e bronzo;	5 Take up among you a collection for the LORD. Everyone, as his heart prompts him, shall bring, as a contribution to the LORD, gold, silver and bronze;
6 giacinto, porpora, cocco tinto due volte, e bisso; peli di capra,	6 violet, purple and scarlet yarn; fine linen and goat hair;
7 pelli d'ariete tinte in rosso ed in violetto; legno di setim;	7 rams' skins dyed red, and tahash skins; acacia wood;
8 olio per apprestare le lampade, e per farne unguento e profumo soavissimo;	8 oil for the light; spices for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense;
9 pietre di onice, e gemme per ornamento del sopraomerale e del razionale.	9 onyx stones and other gems for mounting on the ephod and on the breastpiece.
10 Chiunque di voi abile, venga, e faccia quello che il Signore gli ha comandato;	10 "Let every expert among you come and make all that the LORD has commanded: the Dwelling,
11 cioè: il tabernacolo, la sua tenda e la sua copertura; anelli, assi e traverse, piuoli e basi;	11 with its tent, its covering, its clasps, its boards, its bars, its columns and its pedestals;
12 l'arca e le sue stanghe, il propiziatorio ed il velo che deve esservi steso davanti;	12 the ark, with its poles, the propitiatory, and the curtain veil;
13 la mensa con le sue stanghe e vasi e i pani della proposizione;	13 the table, with its poles and all its appurtenances, and the showbread;
14 il candelabro per regger le lampade, i suoi attrezzi, le lucerne con l'olio per mantenerle accese;	14 the lampstand, with its appurtenances, the lamps, and the oil for the light;
15 l'altare dell'incenso, le sue stanghe, l'olio della consacrazione, e l'incenso aromatico; la tenda all'ingresso del tabernacolo;	15 the altar of incense, with its poles; the anointing oil, and the fragrant incense; the entrance curtain for the entrance of the Dwelling;
16 l'altare dell'olocausto, la sua graticola di bronzo con le sue stanghe ed i suoi attrezzi; la vasca con la sua base;	16 the altar of holocausts, with its bronze grating, its poles, and all its appurtenances; the laver, with its base;
17 le cortine dell'atrio con le colonne e le basi; la tenda all'ingresso del vestibolo;	17 the hangings of the court, with their columns and pedestals; the curtain for the entrance of the court;
18 i piuoli del tabernacolo e dell'atrio, con le loro corde;	18 the tent pegs for the Dwelling and for the court, with their ropes;
19 i vestimenti da usare nel servizio del santuario; le vesti d'Aronne pontefice e de' suoi figliuoli, acciò esercitino il mio sacerdozio -».	19 the service cloths for use in the sanctuary; the sacred vestments for Aaron, the priest, and the vestments worn by his sons in their ministry."
20 Uscita dunque tutta la moltitudine de' figliuoli d'Israele dal cospetto di Mosè,	20 When the whole Israelite community left Moses' presence,
21 con grande sollecitudine e fervore offrirono le cose più preziose al Signore, per la costruzione del tabernacolo della testimonianza. Tutto quello che era necessario per il culto e per le vesti sacre,	21 everyone, as his heart suggested and his spirit prompted, brought a contribution to the LORD for the construction of the meeting tent, for all its services, and for the sacred vestments.
22 uomini e donne l'offrirono: catenelle, orecchini, anelli, braccialetti; tutta la suppellettile d'oro fu messa da parte come donativo al Signore.	22 Both the men and the women, all as their heart prompted them, brought brooches, earrings, rings, necklaces and various other gold articles. Everyone who could presented an offering of gold to the LORD.
23 Chiunque aveva giacinto, porpora, cocco tinto due volte, bisso, peli di capra, pelli d'ariete tinte in rosso ed in violetto,	23 Everyone who happened to have violet, purple or scarlet yarn, fine linen or goat hair, rams' skins dyed red or tahash skins, brought them.
24 vasellame d'argento e, d'oro, lo offrì al Signore; come pure il legno di setim per diversi usi.	24 Whoever could make a contribution of silver or bronze offered it to the LORD; and everyone who happened to have acacia wood for any part of the work, brought it.
25 Le donne più abili filarono e dettero giacinto, porpora, scarlatto, bisso,	25 All the women who were expert spinners brought hand-spun violet, purple and scarlet yarn and fine linen thread.
26 e peli di capra, offrendo spontaneamente tutto quel che avevano.	26 All the women who possessed the skill, spun goat hair.
27 I maggiorenti poi offrirono pietre d'onice e gemme, per il sopraomerale ed il razionale;	27 The princes brought onyx stones and other gems for mounting on the ephod and on the breastpiece;
28 aromi ed olio per accomodare le lampade, preparare l'unguento, e comporre l'incenso dal soavissimo odore.	28 as well as spices, and oil for the light, anointing oil, and fragrant incense.
29 Tutti, uomini e donne, con devoto affetto offrirono donativi, perché fossero eseguite le cose comandate dal Signore per mezzo di Mosè. Tutti i figli d'Israele consacrarono doni volontari al Signore.	29 Every Israelite man and woman brought to the LORD such voluntary offerings as they thought best, for the various kinds of work which the LORD had commanded Moses to have done.
30 Disse Mosè ai figli d'Israele: «Ecco, il Signore ha chiamato per nome Beseleel, figlio di Uri figlio di Hur, della tribù di Giuda;	30 Moses said to the Israelites, "See, the LORD has chosen Bezalel, son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah,
31 e l'ha riempito dello spirito di Dio, di sapienza, intelligenza, e scienza e d'ogni abilità	31 and has filled him with a divine spirit of skill and understanding and knowledge in every craft:
32 per inventare ed eseguire lavori in oro, argento e bronzo,	32 in the production of embroidery, in making things of gold, silver or bronze,
33 scolpire pietre, e lavorare legname; per qualunque lavoro d'arte che possa occorrere,	33 in cutting and mounting precious stones, in carving wood, and in every other craft.
34 gli ha dato l'abilità. Lo stesso ha fatto con Ooliab figlio d'Achisamec, della tribù di Dan.	34 He has also given both him and Oholiab, son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, the ability to teach others.
35 Ad ambedue ha dato intelligenza per fare lavori in legno, tessuti di vario colore ed in ricamo, di giacinto, porpora, cocco tinto due volte, e bisso, acciò tessano di tutte queste cose, e ne inventino delle nuove d'ogni sorta».	35 He has endowed them with skill to execute all types of work: engraving, embroidering, the making of variegated cloth of violet, purple and scarlet yarn and fine linen thread, weaving, and all other arts and crafts.
