| 1 - Ed il Signore parlò a Mosè, e disse: | 1 The LORD said to Moses, |
| 2 «Dirai ai figli d'Israele che mi portino dei doni; li riceverai da chiunque spontaneamente li offrirà. | 2 "Speak to the people of Israel, that they take for me an offering; from every man whose heart makes him willing you shall receive the offering for me. |
| 3 Le cose poi che dovete raccogliere son queste: Oro, argento e bronzo; | 3 And this is the offering which you shall receive from them: gold, silver, and bronze, |
| 4 giacinto, porpora, scarlatto tinto due volte, e bisso; peli di capra, | 4 blue and purple and scarlet stuff and fine twined linen, goats' hair, |
| 5 pelli d'ariete tinte in rosso ed in violetto; legni di setim; | 5 tanned rams' skins, goatskins, acacia wood, |
| 6 olio per mantenere le lampade, aromi per l'unguento, incensi d'ottimo odore; | 6 oil for the lamps, spices for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense, |
| 7 pietre d'onice, e gemme per adornare l'efod ed il razionale. | 7 onyx stones, and stones for setting, for the ephod and for the breastpiece. |
| 8 Mi costruiranno un santuario, ed io abiterò in mezzo a loro. | 8 And let them make me a sanctuary, that I may dwell in their midst. |
| 9 E lo farete in tutto conforme al modello che io ti mostrerò, per il tabernacolo e per tutti gli arredi del suo culto. | 9 According to all that I show you concerning the pattern of the tabernacle, and of all its furniture, so you shall make it. |
| 10 Lavorate con legno di setim un'arca, che abbia di lunghezza due cubiti e mezzo, di larghezza un cubito e mezzo, e d'altezza similmente un cubito e mezzo. | 10 "They shall make an ark of acacia wood; two cubits and a half shall be its length, a cubit and a half its breadth, and a cubit and a half its height. |
| 11 La ricoprirai d'oro purissimo dentro e fuori, e sopra vi porrai tutt'intorno una cornice d'oro. | 11 And you shall overlay it with pure gold, within and without shall you overlay it, and you shall make upon it a molding of gold round about. |
| 12 Inoltre, quattro anelli d'oro, che porrai ai quattro angoli dell'arca: due anelli stiano da un lato, e due dall'altro lato. | 12 And you shall cast four rings of gold for it and put them on its four feet, two rings on the one side of it, and two rings on the other side of it. |
| 13 Farai anche [due] stanghe di legno di setim, che coprirai d'oro; | 13 You shall make poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with gold. |
| 14 e le passerai per gli anelli che sono ai lati dell'arca, acciò si possa trasportare per mezzo di esse; | 14 And you shall put the poles into the rings on the sides of the ark, to carry the ark by them. |
| 15 staranno sempre nei loro anelli, e non ne verranno giammai cavate. | 15 The poles shall remain in the rings of the ark; they shall not be taken from it. |
| 16 E nell'arca porrai la testimonianza, ch'io ti darò. | 16 And you shall put into the ark the testimony which I shall give you. |
| 17 Farai anche il propiziatorio d'oro purissimo; avrà di lunghezza due cubiti e mezzo, ed un cubito e mezzo di larghezza. | 17 Then you shall make a mercy seat of pure gold; two cubits and a half shall be its length, and a cubit and a half its breadth. |
| 18 E due cherubini d'oro battuto, alle due estremità dell'oracolo: | 18 And you shall make two cherubim of gold; of hammered work shall you make them, on the two ends of the mercy seat. |
| 19 un cherubino da una parte, e l'altro dall'altra. | 19 Make one cherub on the one end, and one cherub on the other end; of one piece with the mercy seat shall you make the cherubim on its two ends. |
| 20 Cuoprano dalle due parti il propiziatorio tenendo stese le ali, e adombrino il luogo dell'oracolo; si guardino l'un l'altro, avendo le facce rivolte al propiziatorio. Con questo dev'esser coperta l'arca, | 20 The cherubim shall spread out their wings above, overshadowing the mercy seat with their wings, their faces one to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubim be. |
| 21 nella quale porrai la testimonianza ch'io ti darò. | 21 And you shall put the mercy seat on the top of the ark; and in the ark you shall put the testimony that I shall give you. |
| 22 Di lì io darò i miei ordini; di sul propiziatorio, e di mezzo ai due cherubini posti sull'arca dell'alleanza, dirò a te tutte quelle cose che per tuo mezzo comanderò ai figli di Israele. | 22 There I will meet with you, and from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubim that are upon the ark of the testimony, I will speak with you of all that I will give you in commandment for the people of Israel. |
| 23 Farai ancora una mensa di legno di setim, che abbia due cubiti di lunghezza, uno di larghezza, ed uno e mezzo d'altezza. | 23 "And you shall make a table of acacia wood; two cubits shall be its length, a cubit its breadth, and a cubit and a half its height. |
| 24 La dorerai con oro purissimo, e le farai torno torno un labbro d'oro; | 24 You shall overlay it with pure gold, and make a molding of gold around it. |
| 25 su questo labbro, una fascia traforata alta quattro dita; e sopra questa, un altro orlo di oro. | 25 And you shall make around it a frame a handbreadth wide, and a molding of gold around the frame. |
| 26 Preparerai anche quattro anelli d'oro, e li porrai ai quattro angoli della mensa, a ciascun piede. | 26 And you shall make for it four rings of gold, and fasten the rings to the four corners at its four legs. |
| 27 Gli anelli d'oro staranno sotto la cornice, di modo che vi si possano inserire delle stanghe per trasportare la mensa. | 27 Close to the frame the rings shall lie, as holders for the poles to carry the table. |
| 28 Queste stanghe, le farai di legno di setim ricoperto d'oro, e serviranno a portare la mensa. | 28 You shall make the poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with gold, and the table shall be carried with these. |
| 29 E preparerai piatti, coppe, turiboli e tazze d'oro purissimo, con le quali offrire le libazioni. | 29 And you shall make its plates and dishes for incense, and its flagons and bowls with which to pour libations; of pure gold you shall make them. |
| 30 E sulla mensa terrai sempre innanzi a me i pani della proposizione. | 30 And you shall set the bread of the Presence on the table before me always. |
| 31 Farai inoltre, d'oro battuto il più puro, un candelabro col tronco ed i rami che porteranno calici, sferette, e gigli. | 31 "And you shall make a lampstand of pure gold. The base and the shaft of the lampstand shall be made of hammered work; its cups, its capitals, and its flowers shall be of one piece with it; |
| 32 Sei rami ne deriveranno dai lati: tre da uno, e tre dall'altro. | 32 and there shall be six branches going out of its sides, three branches of the lampstand out of one side of it and three branches of the lampstand out of the other side of it; |
| 33 Tre calici, come fiore di noce, fatti d'una sferetta, d'un giglio ad un ramo; similmente tre calici a mo' di noce, una sferetta ed un giglio, agli altri rami. Questo è il lavoro dei sei rami che debbono uscire dal tronco. | 33 three cups made like almonds, each with capital and flower, on one branch, and three cups made like almonds, each with capital and flower, on the other branch--so for the six branches going out of the lampstand; |
| 34 Nel qual tronco saranno quattro calici a fiore di noce, e per ciascun di essi le sferette ed i gigli. | 34 and on the lampstand itself four cups made like almonds, with their capitals and flowers, |
| 35 Due rami nasceranno sul tronco, da tre sferette, in tre punti, e saranno così in tutto sei rami. | 35 and a capital of one piece with it under each pair of the six branches going out from the lampstand. |
| 36 Sferette e rami usciranno dunque dallo stesso tronco, e saranno tutti d'oro battuto purissimo. | 36 Their capitals and their branches shall be of one piece with it, the whole of it one piece of hammered work of pure gold. |
| 37 Farai inoltre sette lampade, e le porrai sul candelabro, acciò facciano luce sul davanti. | 37 And you shall make the seven lamps for it; and the lamps shall be set up so as to give light upon the space in front of it. |
| 38 Anche gli smoccolatoi ed i vasi ove spengere la smoccolatura, siano d'oro purissimo. | 38 Its snuffers and their trays shall be of pure gold. |
| 39 Tutto il peso del candelabro e de' suoi accessori sarà d'un talento d'oro purissimo. | 39 Of a talent of pure gold shall it be made, with all these utensils. |
| 40 Guarda dunque, e fa' secondo il modello che t'è stato mostrato sul monte. | 40 And see that you make them after the pattern for them, which is being shown you on the mountain. |
