1 'Al maestro del coro. Di Davide.' Lo stolto pensa: "Non c'è Dio". Sono corrotti, fanno cose abominevoli: nessuno più agisce bene.	1 A Psalm of David. O Lord, who will dwell in your tabernacle? Or who will rest on your holy mountain?
2 Il Signore dal cielo si china sugli uomini per vedere se esista un saggio: se c'è uno che cerchi Dio.	2 He who walks without blemish and who works justice.
3 Tutti hanno traviato, sono tutti corrotti; più nessuno fa il bene, neppure uno.	3 He who speaks the truth in his heart, who has not acted deceitfully with his tongue, and has not done evil to his neighbor, and has not taken up a reproach against his neighbors.
4 Non comprendono nulla tutti i malvagi, che divorano il mio popolo come il pane?	4 In his sight, the malicious one has been reduced to nothing, but he glorifies those who fear the Lord. He who swears to his neighbor and does not deceive.
5 Non invocano Dio: tremeranno di spavento, perché Dio è con la stirpe del giusto.	5 He who has not given his money in usury, nor accepted bribes against the innocent. He who does these things will be undisturbed for eternity.
6 Volete confondere le speranze del misero, ma il Signore è il suo rifugio.
7 Venga da Sion la salvezza d'Israele! Quando il Signore ricondurrà il suo popolo, esulterà Giacobbe e gioirà Israele.
