1 Alleluia. Lodate, servi del Signore, lodate il nome del Signore.	1 Praise the Lord, ye children: praise ye the name of the Lord.
2 Sia benedetto il nome del Signore, ora e sempre.	2 Blessed be the name of the Lord, from henceforth now and for ever.
3 Dal sorgere del sole al suo tramonto sia lodato il nome del Signore.	3 From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same, the name of the Lord is worthy of praise.
4 Su tutti i popoli eccelso è il Signore, più alta dei cieli è la sua gloria.	4 The Lord is high above all nations; and his glory above the heavens.
5 Chi è pari al Signore nostro Dio che siede nell'alto	5 Who is as the Lord our God, who dwelleth on high:
6 e si china a guardare nei cieli e sulla terra?	6 and looketh down on the low things in heaven and in earth?
7 Solleva l'indigente dalla polvere, dall'immondizia rialza il povero,	7 Raising up the needy from the earth, and lifting up the poor out of the dunghill::
8 per farlo sedere tra i principi, tra i principi del suo popolo.	8 That he may place him with princes, with the princes of his people.
9 Fa abitare la sterile nella sua casa quale madre gioiosa di figli.	9 Who maketh a barren woman to dwell in a house, the joyful mother of children.
