1 Cantico. Salmo. Di Asaf.	1 Unto the end. For the wine and oil presses. A Psalm to the sons of Korah.
2 Dio, non startene inerte, non tacere né restar quieto, Dio.	2 How beloved are your tabernacles, O Lord of hosts!
3 Poiché ecco i tuoi nemici tumultuano e coloro che ti odiano levano la testa.	3 My soul longs and faints for the courts of the Lord. My heart and my flesh have exulted in the living God.
4 Contro il tuo popolo fanno consigli astuti e cospirano contro i tuoi protetti.	4 For even the sparrow has found a home for himself, and the turtle-dove a nest for herself, where she may lay her young: your altars, O Lord of hosts, my king and my God.
5 Hanno detto: «Venite e cancelliamoli di tra le nazioni né sia mai più menzionato il nome d’Israele»,	5 Blessed are those who dwell in your house, O Lord. They will praise you from age to age.

12 Fa’ i nobili loro come Oreb e Zeeb, come Zebakh e Zalmana tutti i loro principi.	12 For God loves mercy and truth. The Lord will give grace and glory.
13 I quali avevano detto: «Conquistiamoci la casa di Dio».	13 He will not withhold good things from those who walk in innocence. O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man who hopes in you.
14 Mio Dio, fa’ di loro come un mulinello, come pula in balìa del vento.
15 Come fuoco che incendia la selva, come fiamma che divora i monti;
16 così perseguitali con il tuo turbine, con la tua procella atterriscili.
17 Riempi il loro volto d’ignominia e cerchino il tuo nome, Jahvè.
18 Siano confusi e paventino per sempre, siano svergognati e periscano.
19 E sappiano che tu solo ti chiami Jahvè, eccelso su tutta la terra.
