1 (Salmo di David, da lui cantato al Signore per le parole di Cusi Beniaminita ).	1 [Lament Of David Which he sang to Yahweh about Cush the Benjaminite] Yahweh my God, I takerefuge in you, save me from al my pursuers and rescue me,
2 Signore, Dio mio, in te ho posta la mia speranza, salvami e liberami da tutti i miei persecutori;	2 or he wil savage me like a lion, carry me off with no one to rescue me.
3 Chè (il nemico) qual leone non rapisca l'anima mia, quando non v'è chi possa liberare e salvare.	3 Yahweh my God, if I have done this: if injustice has stained my hands,
4 Signore, Dio mio, se ho fatto questo, se c'è dell'iniquità nelle mie mani.	4 if I have repaid my al y with treachery or spared one who attacked me unprovoked,
5 Se ho fatto del male a chi mi ha fatto del male, cada disarmato, come mi merito, sotto i miei nemici.	5 may an enemy hunt me down and catch me, may he trample my life into the ground and crush my vitalparts into the dust.Pause
6 Il nemico mi perseguiti e mi raggiunga, calpesti la mia vita, e riduca in polvere la mia gloria.	6 Arise, Yahweh, in your anger, rise up against the arrogance of my foes. Awake, my God, you demandjudgement.
7 Alzati, o Signore, nel tuo furore, mostra la tua grandezza in mezzo ai miei nemici. Alzati, o Signore mio Dio, secondo la legge da te stabilita.	7 Let the assembly of nations gather round you; return above it on high!
8 E l'assemblea dei popoli si aduni intorno a te: per lei torna nell'alto seggio.	8 (Yahweh judges the nations.) Judge me, Yahweh, as my uprightness and my integrity deserve.
9 Il Signore giudica i popoli. Giudicami, o Signore, secondo la mia giustizia e secondo la mia innocenza.	9 Put an end to the malice of the wicked, make the upright stand firm, you who discern hearts and minds,God the upright.
10 La malvagità dei peccatori abbia fine, e sii guida del giusto, tu o Dio, che scruti i cuori e gli affetti.	10 God is a shield that protects me, saving the honest of heart.
11 Il mio giusto aiuto è dal Signore, che salva i retti di cuore.	11 God is an upright judge, slow to anger, but a God at al times threatening
12 Dio è giusto giudice, forte e paziente. Darà corso all'ira giorno per giorno?	12 for those who wil not repent. Let the enemy whet his sword, draw his bow and make ready;
13 Se non vi convertirete roterà la sua spada: ha già teso il suo arco, e lo tien pronto.	13 but he is making ready instruments of death for himself and tipping his arrows with fire;
14 E in esso ha preparate le mortifere saette, le ha rese terribili col fuoco.	14 look at him: pregnant with malice, conceiving spite, he gives birth to treachery.
