² Ai salici, in mezzo ad essa, appendemmo le nostre cetre.	² Give thanks to the God of gods, for his faithful love endures for ever.
³ Chè là ci domandarono quei che ci avevan menati schiavi parole di canto, e quei che ci avevan deportato, [allegrezza]:«Un inno cantateci de' cantici di Sion!».	³ Give thanks to the Lord of lords, for his faithful love endures for ever.
⁴ Come canteremo il cantico del Signoresu terra straniera?	⁴ He alone works wonders, for his faithful love endures for ever.
