1 Jahvè regna, si è rivestito di maestà; si è rivestito Jahvè, si è cinto di forza. Sì, è fisso l’orbe, non vacillerà;	1 The LORD is king, robed with majesty; the LORD is robed, girded with might. The world will surely stand in place, never to be moved.
2 è saldo il tuo trono da sempre, dall’eternità tu sei.	2 Your throne stands firm from of old; you are from everlasting, LORD.
3 Hanno levato i fiumi, o Jahvè, hanno levato i fiumi il loro grido, hanno levato i fiumi il loro fragore.	3 The flood has raised up, LORD; the flood has raised up its roar; the flood has raised its pounding waves.
4 Più del rombo di acque stragrandi, più potente dei frangenti del mare, potente nell’alto è Jahvè.	4 More powerful than the roar of many waters, more powerful than the breakers of the sea, powerful in the heavens is the LORD.
5 I tuoi statuti sono assai fedeli; alla tua casa si addice santità, o Jahvè, per la durata dei giorni.	5 Your decrees are firmly established; holiness belongs to your house, LORD, for all the length of days.
