EINHEITSUBERSETZUNG BIBEL	KING JAMES BIBLE
1 Worte an Lemuël, den König von Massa, mit denen ihn seine Mutter ermahnt hat:	1 The words of king Lemuel, the prophecy that his mother taught him.
2 Was soll ich dir sagen, Lemuël, mein Erstgeborener, du Sohn meines Schoßes, was, du Sohn meiner Gelübde?	2 What, my son? and what, the son of my womb? and what, the son of my vows?
3 Gib deine Kraft nicht den Frauen hin, dein Tun und Treiben nicht denen, die Könige verderben.	3 Give not thy strength unto women, nor thy ways to that which destroyeth kings.
4 Könige sollen sich nicht, Lemuël, Könige sollen sich nicht mit Wein betrinken, Fürsten nicht berauschenden Trank begehren.	4 It is not for kings, O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine; nor for princes strong drink:
5 Er könnte beim Trinken seine Pflicht vergessen und das Recht aller Notleidenden verdrehen.	5 Lest they drink, and forget the law, and pervert the judgment of any of the afflicted.
6 Gebt berauschenden Trank dem, der zusammenbricht, und Wein denen, die im Herzen verbittert sind.	6 Give strong drink unto him that is ready to perish, and wine unto those that be of heavy hearts.
7 Ein solcher möge trinken und seine Armut vergessen und nicht mehr an seine Mühsal denken.	7 Let him drink, and forget his poverty, and remember his misery no more.
8 Öffne deinen Mund für den Stummen, für das Recht aller Schwachen!	8 Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction.
9 Öffne deinen Mund, richte gerecht, verschaff dem Bedürftigen und Armen Recht!	9 Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy.
10 Eine tüchtige Frau, wer findet sie? Sie übertrifft alle Perlen an Wert.	10 Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.
11 Das Herz ihres Mannes vertraut auf sie und es fehlt ihm nicht an Gewinn.	11 The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.
12 Sie tut ihm Gutes und nichts Böses alle Tage ihres Lebens.	12 She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.
13 Sie sorgt für Wolle und Flachs und schafft mit emsigen Händen.	13 She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.
14 Sie gleicht den Schiffen des Kaufmanns: Aus der Ferne holt sie ihre Nahrung.	14 She is like the merchants' ships; she bringeth her food from afar.
15 Noch bei Nacht steht sie auf, um ihrem Haus Speise zu geben [und den Mägden, was ihnen zusteht].	15 She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.
16 Sie überlegt es und kauft einen Acker, vom Ertrag ihrer Hände pflanzt sie einen Weinberg.	16 She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.
17 Sie gürtet ihre Hüften mit Kraft und macht ihre Arme stark.	17 She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms.
18 Sie spürt den Erfolg ihrer Arbeit, auch des Nachts erlischt ihre Lampe nicht.	18 She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night.
19 Nach dem Spinnrocken greift ihre Hand, ihre Finger fassen die Spindel.	19 She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff.
20 Sie öffnet ihre Hand für den Bedürftigen und reicht ihre Hände dem Armen.	20 She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.
21 Ihr bangt nicht für ihr Haus vor dem Schnee; denn ihr ganzes Haus hat wollene Kleider.	21 She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet.
22 Sie hat sich Decken gefertigt, Leinen und Purpur sind ihr Gewand.	22 She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple.
23 Ihr Mann ist in den Torhallen geachtet, wenn er zu Rat sitzt mit den Ältesten des Landes.	23 Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.
24 Sie webt Tücher und verkauft sie, Gürtel liefert sie dem Händler.	24 She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant.
25 Kraft und Würde sind ihr Gewand, sie spottet der drohenden Zukunft.	25 Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.
26 Öffnet sie ihren Mund, dann redet sie klug und gütige Lehre ist auf ihrer Zunge.	26 She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.
27 Sie achtet auf das, was vorgeht im Haus, und isst nicht träge ihr Brot.	27 She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.
28 Ihre Söhne stehen auf und preisen sie glücklich, auch ihr Mann erhebt sich und rühmt sie:	28 Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.
29 Viele Frauen erwiesen sich tüchtig, doch du übertriffst sie alle.	29 Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.
30 Trügerisch ist Anmut, vergänglich die Schönheit, nur eine gottesfürchtige Frau verdient Lob.	30 Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.
31 Preist sie für den Ertrag ihrer Hände, ihre Werke soll man am Stadttor loben.	31 Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.
