2 Dir gebührt Lobgesang, Gott, auf dem Zion, dir erfüllt man Gelübde.	2 To you we owe our hymn of praise, O God on Zion; To you our vows must be fulfilled,
3 Du erhörst die Gebete. Alle Menschen kommen zu dir	3 you who hear our prayers. To you all flesh must come
4 unter der Last ihrer Sünden. Unsere Schuld ist zu groß für uns, du wirst sie vergeben.	4 with its burden of wicked deeds. We are overcome by our sins; only you can pardon them.
5 Wohl denen, die du erwählst und in deine Nähe holst, die in den Vorhöfen deines Heiligtums wohnen. Wir wollen uns am Gut deines Hauses sättigen, am Gut deines Tempels.	5 Happy the chosen ones you bring to dwell in your courts. May we be filled with the good things of your house, the blessings of your holy temple!
6 Du vollbringst erstaunliche Taten, erhörst uns in Treue, du Gott unsres Heiles, du Zuversicht aller Enden der Erde und der fernsten Gestade.	6 You answer us with awesome deeds of justice, O God our savior, The hope of all the ends of the earth and of far distant islands.
7 Du gründest die Berge in deiner Kraft, du gürtest dich mit Stärke.	7 You are robed in power, you set up the mountains by your might.
8 Du stillst das Brausen der Meere, das Brausen ihrer Wogen, das Tosen der Völker.	8 You still the roaring of the seas, the roaring of their waves, the tumult of the peoples.
9 Alle, die an den Enden der Erde wohnen, erschauern vor deinen Zeichen; Ost und West erfüllst du mit Jubel.	9 Distant peoples stand in awe of your marvels; east and west you make resound with joy.
10 Du sorgst für das Land und tränkst es; du überschüttest es mit Reichtum. Der Bach Gottes ist reichlich gefüllt, du schaffst ihnen Korn; so ordnest du alles.	10 You visit the earth and water it, make it abundantly fertile. God's stream is filled with water; with it you supply the world with grain. Thus do you prepare the earth:
11 Du tränkst die Furchen, ebnest die Schollen, machst sie weich durch Regen, segnest ihre Gewächse.	11 you drench plowed furrows, and level their ridges. With showers you keep the ground soft, blessing its young sprouts.
12 Du krönst das Jahr mit deiner Güte, deinen Spuren folgt Überfluss.	12 You adorn the year with your bounty; your paths drip with fruitful rain.
13 In der Steppe prangen die Auen, die Höhen umgürten sich mit Jubel.	13 The untilled meadows also drip; the hills are robed with joy.
14 Die Weiden schmücken sich mit Herden, die Täler hüllen sich in Korn. Sie jauchzen und singen.	14 The pastures are clothed with flocks, the valleys blanketed with grain; they cheer and sing for joy.
