Psalmen 50

EINHEITSUBERSETZUNG BIBEL	NEW JERUSALEM
1 [Ein Psalm Asafs.] Der Gott der Götter, der Herr, spricht, er ruft der Erde zu vom Aufgang der Sonne bis zum Untergang.	1 [Psalm Of Asaph] The God of gods, Yahweh, is speaking, from east to west he summons the earth.
2 Vom Zion her, der Krone der Schönheit, geht Gott strahlend auf.	2 From Zion, perfection of beauty, he shines forth;
3 Unser Gott kommt und schweigt nicht; Feuer frisst vor ihm her; um ihn stürmt es gewaltig.	3 he is coming, our God, and wil not be silent. Devouring fire ahead of him, raging tempest around him,
4 Dem Himmel droben und der Erde ruft er zu, er werde sein Volk nun richten:	4 he summons the heavens from on high, and the earth to judge his people.
5 «Versammelt mir all meine Frommen, die den Bund mit mir schlossen beim Opfer.»	5 'Gather to me my faithful, who sealed my covenant by sacrifice.'
6 Die Himmel sollen seine Gerechtigkeit künden; Gott selbst wird Richter sein. [Sela]	6 The heavens proclaim his saving justice, 'God himself is judge.'Pause
7 «Höre, mein Volk, ich rede. Israel, ich klage dich an, ich, der ich dein Gott bin.	7 'Listen, my people, I am speaking, Israel, I am giving evidence against you, I, God, your God.
8 Nicht wegen deiner Opfer rüg ich dich, deine Brandopfer sind mir immer vor Augen.	8 'It is not with your sacrifices that I find fault, those burnt offerings constantly before me;
9 Doch nehme ich von dir Stiere nicht an noch Böcke aus deinen Hürden.	9 I will not accept any bul from your homes, nor a single goat from your folds.
10 Denn mir gehört alles Getier des Waldes, das Wild auf den Bergen zu Tausenden.	10 'For all forest creatures are mine already, the animals on the mountains in their thousands.
11 Ich kenne alle Vögel des Himmels, was sich regt auf dem Feld, ist mein Eigen.	11 I know every bird in the air, whatever moves in the fields is mine.
12 Hätte ich Hunger, ich brauchte es dir nicht zu sagen, denn mein ist die Welt und was sie erfüllt.	12 'If I am hungry I shall not tel you, since the world and all it holds is mine.
13 Soll ich denn das Fleisch von Stieren essen und das Blut von Böcken trinken?	13 Am I to eat the flesh of bul s or drink the blood of goats?
14 Bring Gott als Opfer dein Lob und erfülle dem Höchsten deine Gelübde!	14 'Let thanksgiving be your sacrifice to God, fulfil the vows you make to the Most High;
15 Rufe mich an am Tag der Not; dann rette ich dich und du wirst mich ehren.»	15 then if you call to me in time of trouble I wil rescue you and you wil honour me.'
16 Zum Frevler aber spricht Gott: «Was zählst du meine Gebote auf und nimmst meinen Bund in deinen Mund?	16 But to the wicked, God says: 'What right have you to recite my statutes, to take my covenant on yourlips,
17 Dabei ist Zucht dir verhasst, meine Worte wirfst du hinter dich.	17 when you detest my teaching, and thrust my words behind you?
18 Siehst du einen Dieb, so läufst du mit, du machst dich mit Ehebrechern gemein.	18 'You make friends with a thief as soon as you see one, you feel at home with adulterers,
19 Dein Mund redet böse Worte und deine Zunge stiftet Betrug an.	19 your conversation is devoted to wickedness, and your tongue to inventing lies.
20 Von deinem Bruder redest du schändlich, auf den Sohn deiner Mutter häufst du Verleumdung.	20 'You sit there, slandering your own brother, you malign your own mother's son.
21 Das hast du getan und ich soll schweigen? Meinst du, ich bin wie du? Ich halte es dir vor Augen und rüge dich.	21 You do this, and am I to say nothing? Do you think that I am really like you? I charge you, indict youto your face.
22 Begreift es doch, ihr, die ihr Gott vergesst! Sonst zerreiße ich euch und niemand kann euch retten.	22 'Think it out, you who forget God, or I wil tear you apart without hope of a rescuer.
23 Wer Opfer des Lobes bringt, ehrt mich; wer rechtschaffen lebt, dem zeig ich mein Heil.»	23 Honour to me is a sacrifice of thanksgiving; to the upright I wil show God's salvation.'
