1 « Il Tabernacolo poi lo farai di dieci cortine di bisso ritorto, di filo violaceo, porporino, cocciniglia, e variamente ricamate.	1 'The Dwelling itself you wil make with ten sheets of finely woven linen dyed violet-purple, red-purpleand crimson. You will have them embroidered with great winged creatures.
2 La lunghezza d'ogni cortina sarà di ventetto cubiti, la larghezza di quattro; e tutte le cortine saranno della stessa misura.	2 The length of a single sheet is to be twenty-eight cubits, its width four cubits, al the sheets to be of thesame size.
3 Cinque cortine saranno unite insieme, così pure le altre cinque.	3 Five of the sheets are to be joined to one another, and the other five sheets are to be joined to oneanother.
4 Farai dei nastri di giacinto ai lati e all'estremità delle cortine, affinchè possano unirsi insieme.	4 You will make violet loops along the edge of the first sheet, at the end of the set, and do the samealong the edge of the last sheet in the other set.
5 Ogni cortina avrà cinquanta nastri da una parte e dall'altra, e attaccati in guisa che uno risponda all'altro e possano legarsi insieme.	5 You will make fifty loops on the first sheet and fifty loops along the outer edge of the sheet of thesecond set, the loops corresponding to one another.
6 Farai pure cinquanta anelli d'oro per unire i veli delle cortine in modo da formare un solo Tabernacolo.	6 You will also make fifty gold clasps, and join the sheets together with the clasps. In this way theDwelling wil be a unified whole.
7 Farai anche undici teli di pelo di capra, per coprire la parte superiore del Tabernacolo.	7 'You will make sheets of goats' hair to form a tent over the Dwel ing; you wil make eleven of these.
8 Ogni telo sia lungo trenta cubiti e largo quattro, e sian tutti della medesima misura.	8 The length of a single sheet must be thirty cubits and its width four cubits, the eleven sheets to be alof the same size.
9 Di questi teli ne congiungerai cinque da parte, e unirai gli altri sei da se in modo da raddoppiare il sesto telo sul davanti del tetto.	9 You will join five sheets together into one set, and six sheets into another; the sixth you wil fold doubleover the front of the tent.
10 E metterai cinquanta nastri all'orlo di un telo, affinchè possa essere legato coll'altro, e cinquanta nastri all'orlo dell'altro, perchè possa essere legato col primo.	10 You wil make fifty loops along the edge of the first sheet, at the end of the first set, and fifty loopsalong the edge of the sheet of the second set.
11 Farai ancora cinquanta fibbie di bronzo per unire i nastri, in modo da formare un'unica copertura.	11 You wil make fifty bronze clasps and insert the clasps into the loops, to draw the tent together and tomake it a unified whole.
12 E quel che avanzerà delle cortine fatte per coprire il Tabernacolo, cioè la cortina che è di più, metà servirà per coprire la parte posteriore del Tabernacolo;	12 'Of the extra part of the sheets that overlap, half is to hang down the back of the Dwel ing.
13 e ne penderà un cubito da una parte e un cubito dall'altra, e il di più della lunghezza delle coperte coprirà l'uno e l'altro lato del Tabernacolo.	13 The extra cubit on either side along the length of the tent sheets must hang down the sides of theDwelling on either side to cover it.
14 Farai inoltre al Tabernacolo un'altra copertura di pelli di montoni tinte in rosso, e sopra questa un'altra copertura di pelli violette.	14 'And for the tent you will make a cover of rams' skins dyed red and a cover of fine leather over that.
15 Farai pure di legno di setim le assi del Tabernacolo, e dovranno essere messe per ritto.	15 'For the Dwelling you wil make vertical frames of acacia wood.
16 Queste avranno ciascuna dieci cubiti di lunghezza e un cubito e mezzo di larghezza.	16 Each frame must be ten cubits long and one and a half cubits wide.
17 Ai lati di ciascun'asse saran fatte due incastrature, mediante le quali un'asse si unisca all'altra; saran fatte così tutte le assi,	17 Each frame must have twin tenons; that is how al the frames for the Dwelling must be made.
18 venti delle quali saranno dal lato meridionale che guarda il mezzogiorno.	18 You wil make frames for the Dwel ing: twenty frames for the south side, to the south,
19 Farai di getto quaranta basi d'argento, tali che due basi vengan messe sotto a ciascun'asse ai due angoli.	19 and make forty silver sockets under the twenty frames, two sockets under one frame for its twotenons, two sockets under the next frame for its two tenons;
20 Anche al secondo lato del Tabernacolo che guarda al settentrione, vi saranno venti assi,	20 and for the other side of the Dwel ing, the north side, twenty frames
21 con quaranta basi d'argento, cioè due basi sotto eiascun'asse.	21 and forty silver sockets, two sockets under one frame, two sockets under the next frame.
22 Per il lato occidentale del Tabernacolo farai sei assi,	22 For the back of the Dwel ing, on the west, you wil make six frames,
23 più due altre assi che saran poste agli angoli del fondo del Tabernacolo.	23 and make two frames for the corners at the back of the Dwel ing;
24 queste saranno unite insieme da cima a fondo, e tutte incastrate l'una nell'altra. E così pure saranno unite le due assi da porsi agli angoli.	24 these must be coupled together at the bottom, and right up to the top, to the level of the first ring; thisfor the two frames that must form the two corners.
25 Saranno in tutto otto assi con sedici basi d'argento, cioè due basi per ogni asse.	25 Thus there wil be eight frames with their silver sockets: sixteen sockets; two sockets under oneframe and two sockets under the next frame.
26 Farai ancora delle traverse di legno di setim, cinque per fermare insieme le assi di un lato del Tabernacolo,	26 'You wil make crossbars of acacia wood: five for the frames of the first side of the Dwelling,
27 altre cinque per l'altro lato, e altrettante pel lato occidentale;	27 five crossbars for the frames of the opposite side of the Dwel ing, and five crossbars for the frameswhich form the back of the Dwel ing, to the west.
28 esse passeranno attraverso le assi da un'estremità all'altra.	28 The middle bar must join the frames from one end to the other, halfway up.
29 Rivestirai d'oro anche le assi e vi farai d'oro gli anelli dentro i quali devono passare le traverse per tener fermo il tavolato, e anche le traverse saran rivestite d'oro.	29 You wil overlay the frames with gold, make gold rings for them, through which to place thecrossbars, and overlay the crossbars with gold.
30 Il Tabernacolo lo erigerai secondo il modello che ti fu mostrato sul monte.	30 This is how you must erect the Dwel ing, fol owing the design shown you on the mountain.
31 Farai pure un velo di giacinto, di porpora, di cocciniglia e di bisso ritorto con ricami e tessuto con bella varietà;	31 'You wil make a curtain of finely woven linen, dyed violet-purple, red-purple and crimson, andembroidered with great winged creatures,
32 e lo sospenderai a quattro colonne di setim, rivestite anch'esse d'oro, a capi telli d'oro e a basi d'argento.	32 and put it on four poles of acacia wood overlaid with gold, with golden hooks for them, set in foursockets of silver.
33 E il velo sarà sospeso per mezzo d'anelli, e dietro ad esso porrai l'arca del testimonio; per tal velo saran divisi il Santo e il Santo dei Santi.	33 You wil put the curtain below the clasps, so that inside behind the curtain, you can place the ark ofthe Testimony, and the curtain wil mark the division for you between the Holy Place and the Holy of Holies.
34 Metterai poi il propiziatorio sopra l'arca del testimonio nel Santo dei Santi;	34 You wil put the mercy-seat on the ark of the Testimony in the Holy of Holies.
35 metterai la tavola fuori del velo, e dirimpetto alla tavola, ma dal lato meridionale del Tabernacolo, perchè la mensa deve stare dalla parte di settentrione, metterai il candelabro.	35 You wil place the table outside the curtain, and the lamp-stand on the south side of the Dwel ing,opposite the table; you will put the table on the north side.
36 Farai un velo di giacinto e di porpora e di cocco tinto due volte e di bisso ritorto con lavori di ricamo anche all'ingresso del Tabernacolo.	36 For the entrance to the tent you wil make a screen of finely woven linen embroidered with violet-purple, red-purple and crimson,
37 E le cinque colonne di legno di setim, alle quali sarà appeso il velo, le rivestirai d'oro; i loro capitelli saran d'oro e le basi di rame.	37 and for the screen you wil make five poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold, with goldenhooks, and for them you wil cast five sockets of bronze.'
