1 - Questi sono i re che furono battuti dai figli d'Israele e dei quali essi possedettero il territorio al di là del Giordano, verso oriente, dal torrente Arnon fino al monte Ermon e a tutta la regione orientale che guarda il deserto:	1 These are the kings, whom the children of Israel slew and possessed their land beyond the Jordan towards the rising of the sun, from the torrent Arnon unto mount Hermon, and all the east country that looketh towards the wilderness.
2 Seon re degli Amorrei, che abitò in Esebon e regnò da Aroer, situata in riva al torrente Arnon ed a metà della valle fino a mezzo Galaad cioè fino al torrente Jaboc, confine dei figli di Ammon,	2 Sehon king of the Amorrhites, who dwelt in Hesebon, and had dominion from Aroer, which is seated upon the bank of the torrent Arnon, and of the middle part in the valley, and of half Galaad, as far as the torrent Jaboc, which is the border of the children of Ammon.
3 e dal deserto fino al mare di Cenerot verso levante e fino al mare del deserto, che è il mare salato, verso oriente, lungo la via che conduce a Betsimot; e dal lato meridionale che è al di sotto di Asedot fino a Fasga.	3 And from the wilderness, to the sea of Ceneroth towards the east, and to the sea of the wilderness, which is the most salt sea, on the east side by the way that leadeth to Bethsimoth: and on the south side that lieth under Asedoth, Phasga.

6 Mosè servo del Signore e i figli d'Israele li sconfissero e Mosè diede il loro territorio in possesso ai Rubeniti, ai Gaditi e ad una metà della tribù di Manasse.	6 Moses the servant of the Lord, and the children of Israel slew them, and Moses delivered their land in possession to the Rubenites, and Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasses.
7 Questi sono i re del paese che furono battuti da Giosuè e dai figli d'Israele al di qua del Giordano verso occidente, a cominciare da Baalgad nella valle del Libano fino al monte di cui una parte sale verso Seir. Giosuè diede questo territorio in possesso alle tribù di Israele, assegnando a ciascuna la sua porzione,	7 These are the kings of the land, whom Josue and the children of Israel slew beyond the Jordan on the west side from Baalgad in the held of Libanus, unto the mount, part of which goeth up into Seir: and Josue delivered it in possession to the tribes of Israel, to every one their divisions,
8 sia tra le montagne che fra le pianure, sia fra le valli che sul pendio delle colline, nel deserto e verso mezzogiorno. Colà vi fu l'Eteo, l'Amorreo, il Cananeo, il Ferezeo, l'Eveo e il Jebuseo.	8 As well in the mountains as in the plains and the champaign countries.
