Ezechiele 32

BIBBIA CEI 2008	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Nell’anno dodicesimo, nel dodicesimo mese, il primo del mese, mi fu rivolta questa parola del Signore:	1 In the twelfth year, on the first day of the twelfth month, the word of Yahweh was addressed to me asfol ows,
2 «Figlio dell’uomo, intona un lamento sul faraone, re d’Egitto, dicendo: Leone fra le nazioni eri considerato; ma eri come un coccodrillo nelle acque, erompevi nei tuoi fiumi e agitavi le acque con le tue zampe, intorbidendone i corsi.	2 'Son of man, raise a lament for Pharaoh king of Egypt. Say to him: "Young lion of nations, you aredestroyed! Once you were like a crocodile in the lagoons; emerging from your rivers, you churned up the waterwith your trampling and fouled their streams.
3 Così dice il Signore Dio: Tenderò contro di te la mia rete con una grande assemblea di popoli e ti tireranno su con la mia rete.	3 "The Lord Yahweh says this: I shal throw my net over you in a great concourse of nations; and theywil trawl you up in my net. Then I shal leave you high and dry,
4 Ti getterò sulla terraferma e ti scaglierò al suolo. Farò posare su di te tutti gli uccelli del cielo e sazierò di te tutte le bestie della terra.	4 I shal throw you out into the wilds and make al the birds of heaven settle on you, and glut all thebeasts of the earth with you.
5 Spargerò per i monti la tua carne e riempirò le valli della tua carogna.	5 I shal strew your flesh on your mountains and fil the val eys with your corruption;
6 Farò bere alla terra il tuo scolo, il tuo sangue, fino ai monti, e i burroni saranno pieni di te.	6 I shal water the country with what flows from you, with your blood, on the mountainsides, and you wilfill the ravines.
7 Quando cadrai estinto, coprirò il cielo e oscurerò le sue stelle, velerò il sole di nubi e la luna non brillerà.	7 When I extinguish you I shal cover the skies and darken the stars. I shall cover the sun with cloudsand the moon wil not give its light.
8 Oscurerò tutti gli astri del cielo su di te e stenderò sulla tua terra le tenebre. Oracolo del Signore Dio.	8 I shal dim every luminary in heaven because of you and cover your country in darkness -declares theLord Yahweh.
9 Renderò sgomento il cuore di molti popoli, quando farò giungere la notizia della tua rovina alle genti, in regioni a te sconosciute.	9 "I shall grieve the heart of many peoples when I bring about your destruction among the nations, incountries unknown to you.
10 Per te farò stupire molti popoli e tremeranno i loro re a causa tua, quando brandirò la spada davanti a loro. Nel giorno della tua rovina ognuno tremerà ad ogni istante per la sua vita.	10 I shal stun many peoples with shock at your fate; their kings wil tremble with horror at your fate,when I brandish my sword before their eyes. The day you fal , each wil tremble in terror for his life.
11 Poiché così dice il Signore Dio: La spada del re di Babilonia ti raggiungerà.	11 For the Lord Yahweh says this: The sword of the king of Babylon wil overtake you.
12 Abbatterò la tua gente con la spada dei prodi, i più feroci tra le nazioni; distruggeranno l’orgoglio dell’Egitto e tutta la sua gente sarà sterminata.	12 I shal make your throngs of subjects fall at the swords of my warriors. They are the most barbarousof nations. They wil annihilate the pride of Egypt, and al its throngs will be destroyed.
13 Farò perire tutto il suo bestiame sulle rive delle grandi acque, che non saranno più intorbidite da piede d’uomo, né unghia d’animale le intorbiderà.	13 I shal also destroy al its cattle beside the plentiful waters. No human foot wil churn them, no animalfoot wil churn them up again;
14 Allora farò ritornare tranquille le loro acque e farò scorrere i loro fiumi come olio. Oracolo del Signore.	14 then I shal let their waters settle and make their rivers glide like oil -- declares the Lord Yahweh.
15 Quando avrò fatto dell’Egitto una terra desolata, priva di quanto contiene, quando avrò percosso tutti i suoi abitanti, allora sapranno che io sono il Signore.	15 "When I reduce Egypt to a ruin and the country is stripped of its contents, when I strike all those wholive there, they wil know that I am Yahweh.
16 Questo è un lamento e lo si canterà. Lo canteranno le figlie delle nazioni, lo canteranno sull’Egitto e su tutta la sua gente». Oracolo del Signore Dio.	16 "Such is the lament which the daughters of the nations wil raise. They wil raise it over Egypt and allits throng. This is the lament they will raise -- declares the Lord Yahweh." '
17 Nell’anno dodicesimo, il quindici del mese, mi fu rivolta questa parola del Signore:	17 In the twelfth year, on the fifteenth day of the first month, the word of Yahweh was addressed to meas fol ows,
18 «Figlio dell’uomo, intona un canto funebre sugli abitanti dell’Egitto. Falli scendere, insieme con le figlie di nazioni potenti, nella regione sotterranea, con quelli che scendono nella fossa.	18 'Son of man, lament over the throng of Egypt, for down she must go with the daughters of majesticnations to the depths of the underworld with those who sink into oblivion.
19 Di chi tu saresti più bello? Scendi e giaci con i non circoncisi.	19 'Whom do you surpass in beauty? Down with you, make your bed with the uncircumcised,
20 Cadranno fra gli uccisi di spada; la spada è già consegnata. Colpite a morte l’Egitto e tutta la sua gente.	20 with those who have been slaughtered by the sword. (The sword has been given, it has been drawn.)She and al her throngs have fallen.
21 Gli eroi più potenti si rivolgeranno a lui e ai suoi aiutanti e dagli inferi diranno: “Vieni, giaci con i non circoncisi, con i trafitti di spada”.	21 From the depths of Sheol, the mightiest heroes, her al ies, wil say to her, "They have come down,they have lain down, uncircumcised, slaughtered by the sword."
22 Là è Assur e tutta la sua gente, intorno al suo sepolcro, tutti uccisi, trafitti di spada;	22 'Assyria is there and al her hordes, with their graves al round her; all of them slaughtered, fal en bythe sword;
23 poiché le loro sepolture sono poste nel fondo della fossa e la sua gente è intorno al suo sepolcro: tutti uccisi, trafitti di spada, essi che seminavano il terrore nella terra dei viventi.	23 their graves have been made in the deepest part of the abyss, and her hordes, with their graves alround her; all of them slaughtered, kil ed by the sword, who once spread terror through the world of the living.
24 Là, intorno al suo sepolcro, è Elam e tutta la sua gente. Tutti uccisi, trafitti di spada, scesi non circoncisi nella regione sotterranea, essi che seminavano il terrore nella terra dei viventi. Ora portano la loro ignominia con quelli che scendono nella fossa.	24 'Elam is there and al her throng round her grave, al of them slaughtered, fallen by the sword; theyhave gone down uncircumcised to the depths of the underworld, who once spread terror throughout the world ofthe living. They have borne their shame with those who sink into oblivion.
25 In mezzo ai trafitti posero il suo giaciglio e intorno al suo sepolcro tutta la sua gente, tutti non circoncisi, trafitti di spada; perché avevano seminato il terrore nella terra dei viventi, portano la loro ignominia con quelli che scendono nella fossa. Sono stati collocati in mezzo ai trafitti di spada.	25 Among the slaughtered, they have put a bed for her, among her throng with their tombs round her, alof them uncircumcised, slaughtered by the sword for having spread terror throughout the world of the living.They have borne their shame with those who sink into oblivion. They have been put among the slaughtered.
26 Là, intorno al suo sepolcro, è Mesec, Tubal e tutta la sua gente: tutti non circoncisi, trafitti di spada, perché avevano seminato il terrore nella terra dei viventi.	26 'Meshech, Tubal are there and al her throng, with their graves round her, al of them uncircumcised,slaughtered by the sword for having spread terror through the world of the living.
27 Non giaceranno al fianco degli eroi caduti da secoli, che scesero negli inferi con le armi da guerra, con le spade disposte sotto il loro capo e con gli scudi sulle loro ossa, perché tali eroi erano un terrore nella terra dei viventi.	27 They do not lie with the heroes who fell long ago, those who went down to Sheol ful y armed, whohad their swords laid under their heads and their shields put under their bones, since the heroes inspired theworld of the living with terror.
28 Così tu giacerai fra i non circoncisi e con i trafitti di spada.	28 But you wil be broken with the uncircumcised and lie with those slaughtered by the sword.
29 Là è Edom, i suoi re e tutti i suoi prìncipi che, nonostante il loro valore, sono posti con i trafitti di spada: giacciono con i non circoncisi e con quelli che scendono nella fossa.	29 'Edom is there, her kings and al her princes who, despite their valour, have been laid with thoseslaughtered by the sword. They lie with the uncircumcised, with those who sink into oblivion.
30 Là sono tutti i prìncipi del settentrione, tutti quelli di Sidone, che scesero con i trafitti, coperti di vergogna nonostante il terrore sparso dalla loro potenza; giacciono non circoncisi con i trafitti di spada e portano la loro ignominia con quelli che scendono nella fossa.	30 'Al the princes of the north and al the Sidonians are there, who have gone down with theslaughtered, because of the terror which their power inspired. Ashamed, uncircumcised, they lie among thoseslaughtered by the sword and bear their shame with those who sink into oblivion.
31 Il faraone li vedrà e si consolerà per tutta la sua gente; il faraone e tutto il suo esercito saranno trafitti di spada. Oracolo del Signore Dio.	31 'Pharaoh wil see them and take comfort at the sight of al this throng slaughtered by the sword --Pharaoh and al his throng -- declares the Lord Yahweh.
32 Poiché aveva seminato il terrore nella terra dei viventi, il faraone con tutta la sua gente giace in mezzo ai non circoncisi, con i trafitti di spada». Oracolo del Signore Dio.	32 For having spread terror through the world of the living, he wil be laid with the uncircumcised, withthose slaughtered by the sword, Pharaoh and al his throng -- declares the Lord Yahweh.'
