Psalmen 63

EINHEITSUBERSETZUNG BIBEL	NEW JERUSALEM
1 [Ein Psalm Davids, als er in der Wüste Juda war.]	1 [Psalm Of David When he was in the desert of Judah] God, you are my God, I pine for you; my heartthirsts for you, my body longs for you, as a land parched, dreary and waterless.
2 Gott, du mein Gott, dich suche ich, meine Seele dürstet nach dir. Nach dir schmachtet mein Leib wie dürres, lechzendes Land ohne Wasser.	2 Thus I have gazed on you in the sanctuary, seeing your power and your glory.
3 Darum halte ich Ausschau nach dir im Heiligtum, um deine Macht und Herrlichkeit zu sehen.	3 Better your faithful love than life itself; my lips wil praise you.
4 Denn deine Huld ist besser als das Leben; darum preisen dich meine Lippen.	4 Thus I will bless you al my life, in your name lift up my hands.
5 Ich will dich rühmen mein Leben lang, in deinem Namen die Hände erheben.	5 Al my longings fulfil ed as with fat and rich foods, a song of joy on my lips and praise in my mouth.
6 Wie an Fett und Mark wird satt meine Seele, mit jubelnden Lippen soll mein Mund dich preisen.	6 On my bed when I think of you, I muse on you in the watches of the night,
7 Ich denke an dich auf nächtlichem Lager und sinne über dich nach, wenn ich wache.	7 for you have always been my help; in the shadow of your wings I rejoice;
8 Ja, du wurdest meine Hilfe; jubeln kann ich im Schatten deiner Flügel.	8 my heart clings to you, your right hand supports me.
9 Meine Seele hängt an dir, deine rechte Hand hält mich fest.	9 May those who are hounding me to death go down to the depths of the earth,
