EINHEITSUBERSETZUNG BIBEL	KING JAMES BIBLE
1 [Für den Chormeister. Nach Jedutun. Ein Psalm Davids.]	1 Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation.
2 Bei Gott allein kommt meine Seele zur Ruhe, von ihm kommt mir Hilfe.	2 He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.
3 Nur er ist mein Fels, meine Hilfe, meine Burg; darum werde ich nicht wanken.	3 How long will ye imagine mischief against a man? ye shall be slain all of you: as a bowing wall shall ye be, and as a tottering fence.
4 Wie lange rennt ihr an gegen einen Einzigen, stürmt alle heran wie gegen eine fallende Wand, wie gegen eine Mauer, die einstürzt?	4 They only consult to cast him down from his excellency: they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah.
5 Ja, sie planen, ihn von seiner Höhe zu stürzen; Lügen ist ihre Lust. Sie segnen mit ihrem Mund, doch in ihrem Herzen fluchen sie. [Sela]	5 My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.
6 Bei Gott allein kommt meine Seele zur Ruhe; denn von ihm kommt meine Hoffnung.	6 He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved.
7 Nur er ist mein Fels, meine Hilfe, meine Burg; darum werde ich nicht wanken.	7 In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.
8 Bei Gott ist mein Heil, meine Ehre; Gott ist mein schützender Fels, meine Zuflucht.	8 Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.
9 Vertrau ihm, Volk (Gottes), zu jeder Zeit! Schüttet euer Herz vor ihm aus! Denn Gott ist unsere Zuflucht. [Sela]	9 Surely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: to be laid in the balance, they are altogether lighter than vanity.
10 Nur ein Hauch sind die Menschen, die Leute nur Lug und Trug. Auf der Waage schnellen sie empor, leichter als ein Hauch sind sie alle.	10 Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart upon them.
11 Vertraut nicht auf Gewalt, verlasst euch nicht auf Raub! Wenn der Reichtum auch wächst, so verliert doch nicht euer Herz an ihn!	11 God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.
12 Eines hat Gott gesagt, zweierlei habe ich gehört: Bei Gott ist die Macht;	12 Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work.
13 Herr, bei dir ist die Huld. Denn du wirst jedem vergelten, wie es seine Taten verdienen.
